'Jesus box' exposed as fake
by Rado Vleugel in'jesus box' exposed as fake
a stone box touted as the oldest archaeological evidence of jesus is, in fact, a well-crafted fake, israeli archaeological experts say.
the box, an object known as an ossuary, was said to have contained the bones of jesus' brother james.

There's a subtle difference between New York drivers vs. our New Jersey brethren (and sistren): both drive aggressively, but the folks from Jersey do so with suicidal tendencies!
This is why I take Metro North into work - easier on the blood pressure, general stress level, etc.

I agree, Ashitaka! That comes from a New Yorker, who cringes (or curses, depending on the situation) whenever I see those damn yellow license plates!

Back when I had decided to leave Dubdom, I attended the last few meetings completely stoned! I remember almost breaking myself up during a service meeting, because I was thinking "Gee, the meetings are MUCH more tolerable when you've got a buzz on!" Then, there came a part in the meeting where there were "demonstrations" being done on how to "offer" the mags, and I had to go outside and have a belly laugh, they were so awful! Ah, memories!

Drugs?
by be wise ini think this is my first debatable topic.
for anyone who has experimented with recreational drugs or who knows about someone who has how do you think they can change you for the better as well as for the worse?
i know a few ways in which they really changed me, i was very shy and never felt compfortable around people until i had my first experience and felt totally unhibited around a room full of people (talking in retrospect) and i never forgot what that felt like - it opened my mind and i learned to become much more confident.

Nowadays, mainly beer and weed - in moderation. That was something I learned over the years! MJ can definitely sap your motivation, so I limit myself to the weekend bone or bowl(s). I took acid maybe twice, and mushrooms maybe 4 times, and mescaline twice (this was all more than 9 years ago). I must say, I rather enjoyed the mesc - but it made me talk INCESSANTLY! My friends were laughing, because I just couldn't shut up! Also, I never really hallucinated on the 'shrooms or the acid - but any objects that were yellow or green were really vivid. I had occasion to try cocaine a couple of times, but I much prefer being mellow to being wound up.

The kind of Man GWBush is.
by Yerusalyim inat walter reed medical center in washington dc recently the sergeant major of the army, jack tilley, was with a group of people visiting the wounded soldiers.
he saw a special forces soldier who had lost his right hand and suffered severe wounds of his face and side of his body.
the sma wanted to honor him and show him respect without offending, but what can you say or do in such a situation that will encourage and uplift?

Sorry - I don't get warm fuzzies from a Prez who started an unnecessary and illegal war to protect corporate/political interests.
