Unfortunately this only proves that most JW's have the same mentality.
They LOOK for things that would help them Justify the reasoning
that those on dateline were apostates-hence haters of God. Of
course, some on this board could be accused of the same. Anyway,
a JW will look for any hint of Non WTS loyalist behavior. What!!
They used the word church instead of kingdom hall?? They are mis informed apostates

the result of the airing of the dateline program has been very positive.

dateline program will no doubt air again in reruns and may get further coverage soon.

there have been many mixed emotions as a result of this program.

Locks on Bethel Doors: True?

i recall that it's been mentioned in passing here on a few threads that there are locks on the bethel rooms.

this to me is significant, since when i was there in the sixties, there were none, and this wasa source of considerable pride in some circles.. can someone confirm, please?.

during my day, they caught one bethel thief, a guy whose dad was a prominent circuit overseer who served in nyc at the time.

Keep in mind that the the information might be dates because
of constant changes in the dept. names. For example: There is
no more Executive offices but are now called Administartive Services.

But the info I have should give you an idea of Ralphs current position.

He served as the overseer for the enitire 360 complex. All overseers
who were at 360 reported to him. He was also in the personnel dept-I
guess having an input of who stays and who goes and making policy. He
is also a "given one". He served at the whim of the governing body--
He conducts Family Watchtower Study and morning worhip on the
days a member of the gb doest (rotaional obviously)

Interesting note:

At the 360 building, nightwatchman are given an all access key
which opens everydoor, for obvious reasons. Cleaning and security
etc........this "Master Key" opens all doors..except one.
This key will not open the office of Ralph Walls. Anyone who
knows Br. Walls knows that he is a "given one". For
some unkown reason this fellow slave of christ, one who is to
consider others greater than he is never allowed anyone else in his
office.

i can't find the words that would express how grateful i am for all the support, not only for all of you to back me on the dateline show but for my trial as well.

i don't think i would have had the courage to go through the trauma if it wasn't for all your prayers and encouragement.

dateline was a huge help for many and i know this because i have recieved quite a few calls, one from a current jdub who wants out for the safety of his 16 month old baby, i was so excited that he lifted the veil and saw it for the pure truth that it was.
