This Hollywood knows all the good dirt!!
One timer there was a Bethelite who brought some visitors to
his Bethel room. These visitors were wearing jeans. As they proceeded
to get in the elevator, Jaracz soon followed. Up the elevator they
went, without a word. As the visitors unloaded, Jaracz asked the
Bethelite to stay so he could speak to him. Jaracz than proceeded
to give loving words to the Bethelite to encourage him. He told him
that visitors have no place wearing Jeans in Jehovahs house. This made
them look like the worldly neighbors. All visitors to Bethel should
dress as though they are going to the kingdom hall. He told the Bethelite that he should, in the future, tell guestsm to dress correctly.#2 The Brothers in Kingdom Hall construction/ purchasing were thinking of ways to take some load off the Regional committees. The thought they would try providing "ready to go" kingdom hall packages,
i.e. carpets, wall paper, color schemes-. They figured that this would
stop all the "fighting" that goes on during the pre construction stuff. All the local Brothers would have to do is request this Help and these packages would be provided. Jaracz but the Kaibosh on this big time, (only to be later "corrected). He felt that this made the Society look to much like a business. He felt the Brother would have to spend the time to get all this material together, instead of getting the help from the Society. -

Split infinitive ruins society
by the follower ina couple of years ago the queen in her address to the nation used a split infinitive for the first time.
needless to say, society has been reeling from the consequences of this lapse of judgement ever since.
there are fewer things i feel more strongly about.

DATELINE May Be Pre-Empted or Rescheduled!
by Mister Biggs inthere will be an nba playoff game on nbc at 9:00 pm est.. this means that dateline will either be pre-empted or shown at 8:00 pm est.. according to my tv guide that i received in the mail yesterday, it is scheduled to come on at 10:00 pm est.. that would mean that it will be pre-empted.. however, tvguide.com shows dateline being scheduled to air at 8:00 pm est.. that would mean that it would air as scheduled.. so, since friday's (may 24) dateline will be the last show until tuesday (sunday's is pre-empted) they should announce at the end of the show what will be coming up for tuesday the 28th.. let's keep an eye on this.. the only thing definite is that it will not air at 10:00 pm est (for all you vcr-heads) on may 28.. my apologies, of course, if someone has already addressed this.
