Hi my name is Rebecca.

The sexaul abuse Ryan and I went through was horrible. The man who sexauly abused me and my brother Ryan were pretty close to us. He was all most the head of the congergation, it is heart breaking to know that he might still be sexauly abusing more babies, kids, teenagers -- evry age you could could think about. We are trying to get money togeather so we can fly up to press charges against him and to take a train to New York City to go to the march for me and other kids who went what I went through. Please... donate a little of money so my family can do this for me, my brother Ryan and many other children.

A plea for the silent lambs

in early march of this year, in the echoes of uncertainty left after the horror of 9-11, just one year after i had nearly died myself from a massive, still unexplained, seizure, i determined that i wanted to be a writer.

there were so many things i wanted to write about, my head swirled with possibilities.

one topic kept coming front and center, unavoidably.

I know that there are many ex-JW chat rooms and discussion boards and mailing lists and circles of friends out there. If you belong to some of these, please let them know about our efforts to raise funds for the silent lambs march. We are already a third of the way there...we can make it the rest of the way quickly and strike another blow against the policies that hurt children, and put another WT pedophile out of commission.

Yes it is 30% now. My deepest thanks to everyone. I killed the Kuro5hin story, and I am feeling a bit under the weather today...to sick to write.

Leslie, I will make sure that Denise gets your message tonight. You are a sweetheart. Even when we were still in the borg, she always expressed regret over her lost friendship with you. We will have to get together when we get to the Northeast.

Please, please, please help us to reach our goal this week! Our children want this once in a lifetime chance to be there in person to tell the leadership of Jehovah's Witnesses and the world media that the policies of the Witnesses must change. We have reason to believe that the man who assaulted them has hurt others since, and probably others before. He left his previous congregation under mysterious circumstances.

I can now reveal that I have been working with silentlambs behind the scenes to work on a significantly improved web site, to be launched soon, and on other initiatives. We are determined to continue to work with silentlambs to the end.

Not at all. I intend to try to get Jeffrey Anderson to work with me. I am going after this guy with everything I have.

BTW, this guy is a major contributor $$$ to the Watchtower. He has been on the cover of the Watchtower! I will be holding that magazine in my hand before the cameras in NY!

As of 9:30 am Arizona time, we have received help from 7 people for a total of $120, 12% of our goal.

I greatly appreciate this assistance. When I took my laptop home last night, with this thread downloaded for the family to see, the kids were thrilled. It gave them hope that maybe we can make it to New York and they can get a chance to make their voices heard and no longer be silent lambs.

My son Ryan cried about what happened to him for the first time since he initially told us just a few months ago. We considered that a major breakthrough. Your kind words of support helped.

But, we are a far way from our goal. Like all of you, I have bitched and complained endlessly on the net about the abuses of this organization.

THIS IS A CHANCE TO ACTUALLY *DO SOMETHING* AS A FORMER JW -- something much more effective than complaining on an obscure internet discussion board.

When else in our lifetime will there be a highly publicized march on the headquarters of this cult?! Our being there will not only greatly benefit our kids, it will also give the media an additional news hook -- something new to report about: the outing of yet another child sex abusing elder!

Please help! As of this writing, 629 views of this thread have occurred. If only half of those viewers had contributed $3 each, a Big Mac and Coke, we would be at our goal! Even a small contribution helps.

Lets show Jehovah's Witnesses what they fear most: that we can be united and get behind something.

I WANT TO STAND BEFORE THE WORLD MEDIA AND SAY "I AM HERE TODAY BECAUSE OUR FRIENDS AT JEHOVAHS-WITNESS.COM AND OTHER CURRENT AND FORMER JW'S ON THE NET SPONSORED OUR FAMILY'S TRIP HERE."

I will also be taping the march and writing about it for publication, so this will help keep the momentum that silentlambs and others have created in full swing!

Like any population, growth or shrinkage is exponential! If we can keep this press coverage going the organization will suffer major losses in its membership and be forced to take a more moderate stance and protect children!
