but just curious after you left jehovahs witnesses did you look into other religions?
or are any of you currently involved in any other religions now?.

not believing in organized religion... i think there has to be a God or something somewhere, but no thanks, i tried going to a non-denominational church and i felt like such a hypocrite, i know most people there where IN the moment, i was just looking at how stupid they looked (sorry again!)...

so i was at my parents house yesterday and an apostate vs j-dub showdown commenced.
i was merely just asking questions since they always told me that if i had any questions to feel free to ask.
so i did.....but they seemed angry at the fact i was asking such questions to begin with.
Fade... just breathe... like u said there is no point of arguing with them, it does not matter what you say or do, they are always right (or so they think)....
The Disaster relief thing, like someone else said it is a cash cow, and i always had a problem w that as well... why wouldn't the loving brothers and sisters help EVERYONE and not just JWs?? i mean, Jesus talked about the good samaritan and how regardless of the differences between the communities the good samaritan helped the injured man, same thing here... it shouldn't be about where or who they worship, it should be about humanity and kindness... and following Jesus example....
I was talking to ur wife and i told her i think the time is coming where you guys are going to need to move away from the area if you want to fade successfully, or just prepare for THE showdown w your family and ours.... i wish you both the best and you know i'll have your back no matter what!!

i love sight seeing and i want to take advantage of my time there (almost a week)... so what would u recommend?.
also i am planning a 1-2 week trip to the uk in october or maybe december, i know they are many uk posters here.... also, i want to take advantage to the max of my time there.. i want to go to those hidden treasures in the country side... maybe 1 day or 2 in london, but i want to see the wonderful uk country side... want to stop by scotland and ireland if possible... .

To understand and appreciate the love my dogs give me... after having to put up w so much hypocrisy from the JWs who love bombed u into getting baptized and then would destroy your character behind your back, i have learned to love my dogs even more.. they love me just the way i am and i dont have to be perfect i just have to be their mommy.....

Thanks for the recommendations... i am used to long drives, i loved to travel and went driving to the west this year in March, it was 10 days of continuous driving but i saw some of the most beautiful sights of my life.. Lake Tahoe, Grand Canyon, Hover Dam, Napa Valley, it was awesome! and that's what i am looking for on my trips to Canada and UK.... i am one of those go w the flow travelers, when i am traveling i wake up early and go to sleep really late and live on caffeine... but i have to see it all in a small amount of time!! :)

Nickolas, you are right i wouldnt risk my loved ones life but i would try any other method BEFORE hurting the animal, there are some posters here already telling the OP to kill the dog! i understand the risk of breeding and owning pitbulls (i dont own pits, i have yorkies!) but i am just asking the OP to try any other method before trying to shoot/poison/feed glass to the poor dog... pits are a dangerous breed, but they are not the problem, the problem are the moronic irresponsibles owners that get those dog and do not take care of them!

this statement is too funny... because sometime after i started fading, the elders ambushed me and asked me if i had bought anything or received any pre-used gifts, they said it may be possesed by demons... looking back...REALLy??? thats the best they can do... pity...
