  How Many on JWNet are still JWs?

  i've been wondering about this for some time.

  if there are 60,000+ registered users on here, what percentage are actual non-dfed or non-daed witnesses?

  if it was 1/3, that would be over 20,000 active/inactive witnesses that post and read these pages- and that's huge.

  Us boys on the outside are much better...It is not easy to be a guy on the inside when all the 19 year old girls get snatched up by the 30 year old guys. I didnt want to marry young, but if you wait there arent many women who have not been married once before.

  Opinion-Is This Clear Evidence that Jehovah's Holy Spirit is with The Watchtower?

  i was having a discussion with an aquaintance about if there was evidence that the watchtower has jehovah's holy spirit.

  he said, "given the fact that no other organization has won more supreme court cases than jehovah's witnesses to protect their religious freedom in north america and abroad is unrefutable evidence of jehovah's blessing by means of his holy spirit".. your thoughts?.

  Ask him if the ACLU is God's spirit directed organization....they helped litagate and win many of those cases for the JWs and they won many of them before the witnesses were fighting.

  "With the ACLU at their defense, the Jehovah's Witnesses won the case. The Supreme Court declared that no official could force anyone to declare his or her belief in any religion or nation [ref]."

  just kidding, let's talk drugs.. as a kid growing up in the mid-80's and through the 90's, we had all kinds of lame, pointless anti-drug programs at school.

  the most common one was the d.a.r.e.

  its been 2 years.

  she was lying in intensive care (i didnt know she only had a few days left)...... building up to the bloody convention in cardiff millenium stadium.

  Paula don’t blame yourself for giving into mind control. It is so subversive and so evil. They had us all doing terrible things. They deserve your hatred.

  I don’t think I have ever cried so much than when I started reading about how many people were wronged by the organization. Lost Families, lost friends, lost children.

  Matthew 7:16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they?

  We can sit here eating grapes and figs together, while we help each other remove the thorns and the thistles that they coverd us with.

  Anyone wanna place a bet on what will happen to me when I have to go to the Kingdom Hall this Saturday??

  well since there is no "betting" (as it reeks of gambling) in jdub land, lets place a friendly wager on what will happen to me when i go to my father's "memorial" service at the kingdome hall this saturday..... to give you newbies background info: i am neither df'd or da'd- i left 2 years ago with no explanation.

  i have been hounded by elders in my cong because they have suspicions that i am living with a man, but they have no proof (well, no proof in jdub land- you know...two witness rule).

  after many attempts to get me to meet with them- i finally sent the elders a "cease & desist" letter after one of them spied in my miniblinds to see me eating breakfast with someone (they couldn't identify who).

  the down side of having a name like raveen is that names don't mean anything to me.

  all people become nothing... any odd name people undesrsand?

  Was the policy change to equate DA to DF because of Ray?

  as ray says in the last chapter of coc, before 1981 da was quite different from df.

  "persons who resigned were not treated the same as those disfellowshiped", they were not shunned for example, except when the dad person enters into politics or military.. i put it on account of humbleness that ray says he doesn't think they changed the policy just to use it against him, he probably feels he wasn't so significant as to warrant such a far-reaching change.

  but it seems way too convenient that the policy change came at that exact time, too much of a coincidence.

  i never really liked any kingdom melody they played at the kh, but i found this video of a kid who makes these songs sound pretty cool.

  he plays them on an electric distorted guitar.

  (the devil's instrument...the one he uses in heavy metal)).
