  This is definitely a tragedy among many such tragedies. I too, feel for her parents. My hope now is that even though it is skeletal remains they found, there are clues that forensics can use to find her killer. Now, the Levys can finally begin the full grieving process.
  I also at this time want to 'remember' all those families who are living in limbo because they too are missing loved ones - who do not get the air time because no one famous is involved. As Puffs said - It is sad. It is a parent's worst nightmare come true.

  just wondering about how many here feel they are fighters against the organisation of jehovahs witnesses, and how many consider themselves just recovering from the experience?.

  i would say i am a fighter, that is i am against the org not just upset at what has happened to me.. how about you?

  this was an accurate assessment on her part though i didn't acknowlege that.

  Yeru - which came first: no love, or having to raise your niece's three children? Why is it you don't enjoy being around your wife? (for you to answer to yourself) What about getting some help, counselling? Sounds like you two are carrying quite a load there.

  If you were leaving your partner...

  if you were leaving your husband or wife and you knew that your leaving would cripple them financially, what would you do?

  if you were leaving the family home and you knew that your actions would mean your spouse couldn't make the payments, would you offer to help?.

  am i being unreasonable in expecting that if someone is going to destroy you and leave then they might be considerate enough to not also take away your home?

  Sirona, I don't think a questionaire will answer your questions. I would advise said spouse (that is being left) to find out their rights from a lawyer. Even if that spouse is trying to work it out -it takes two to do that - not one.
  Financially, there are laws regarding alimony, palimony, child support, the dividing of assets.
  The spouse being left may be devastated, but will only be destroyed if he/she allows that to happen.
  My advice is to speak to a lawyer and get into mediation. Mediation helps to solve these problems without the 'emotions' getting in the way of the solutions. Especially during these situations do our emotions of revenge and pain sabotage the real solutions. Hope this helps.

  Beck - how could I forget the 'aroma' of anything?! Of course, I'm eating soda crackers. But you are SO right!
  As for JW.com though, well, here I am! (even if I am wearing sunglasses and seeing shiny silver slivers!) Yes, the meds have taken the edge off - now my head feels very bruised. It's that whole steel-toed kick someone gave me ;) (and I sleep alone) Must be deminz.

  Prisca sweety, I'm happy to hear that yours have subsided in quantity. Murphy's Law is my zodiac sign, and I am frantically shovelling stress, even though I have worked to deal with it effectively. So many triggers, too few shovels!

  My father-in-law (rip) was a Shriner. He wanted my hubby to be a freemason, so he went to a few 'meetings'. They have some bizarre indoctrination rituals. I'm personally wary of the them, although I know the Shriners do excellent work with the kids hospital they've established. There's alot of secrecy with the freemasons. From what I've heard, the lodges differ greatly.

  Yes, Jewel is one of my fave artists. That song is definitely a great one. One of the other ones I like is "Hands".

  Beck - dl the song by Luba called 'Let it go'. The lyrics are amazing and very in tune with leaving the borg.
