  MY JW DAD HAS CUT US OFF! WE ARE DEAD !

  well we don't care that he has cut us off!

  we have 4 kids, he ain't going to see them before the grim reaper comes lookin for him.

  my job skills are well in demand in alberta canada so that's our next move, we are getting out of the uk sinking ship asap, we have family in alberta who will sponsor us so i think it's time to leave and make a new start for our kids, as their aren't no jobs in the uk for them now even with university qualifications behind them.

  We need to start using Twitter to spread stuff like this ... perhaps using hollywood stars that advocate for children's right - hey, the Egyptians started Revolution using Facebook ... I am very passionate about the WT sexual abuse handling and cover up - my niece was a victim of awful sexual abuse by 3 different JWs in El Salvador, it is all over the world.

  What is the ULTIMATE goal of the Watchtower Society?

  What is the ULTIMATE goal of the Watchtower Society? Honor their original purpose when they first incorporated their business - selling of books, tracts and magazines. Rutherford stroke gold when he took the reins of this business .

  If you still believe in the bible: They also being used to deceive the world - the gospel is "veiled" to them and their followers b/c the "god of this age" has blinded them and the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ does not shine on them. They are part of the snare of the devil and are his captives to do his will.

  Hi YoungBro! I feel for you. I also suffered from depression when I was a JW. Not anymore thou. No more pills. Just pure unexplicable joy. Please know that if you have doubts about the Watchtower teachings, it does not mean you are doubting GOD, YHWH, Jehovah, so don't let this add to your burden. If you are still living with your parents or any other arrangement from which you cannot depart right now, look forward to the day when you live by yourself. It is not a sin or crime to move out of your house and have your own apartment. One of the human rights is the right to pursue your happiness.

  Now in my personal case, I have seen that my problem was my upbringing in that Sect. I don't have any personality disorder (don't ask my friends thou ;). Make sure that the doctors run some tests on you. In my case everything was fine but I didn't know and at the same time I KNEW what was wrong - the environment in which I was in - I was sick/depressed because of the show I was putting on, I was not living my life, I was doing things just for my family and the congregation to see thus my human body was not sick, my HUMAN BEING, my soul was. Perhaps you have never thought about this. Human Body, Human Being, which one is sick? You know the answer. I talked to a very loving social worker once that told me to love myself, to pamper myself, to talk nice and pretty to myself - to nurture the little girl inside me (something we don't get in that sect, gosh I overheard my parents many times saying that I was going to be destroyed in Armagedon and they didn't seem concerned, it was like matter of fact - LOL!). So if for some reason you cannot leave the environment in which you are in right now, take care of yourself the human being, the litle boy inside you. I will be praying for you.

  Life is beautiful - it may not seem like this always - but it is! Things will be okay.

  Onemore ... I agree with Isidore ... do your research too ... there is plenty of stuff in the internet . One thing I have learned is that the Watchtower painted a dark light around any "denominations" apart from them ... they generalize the whole, but when you start researching them you'll find something different ... The WT claims to be the only way, so they make a big deal about the "not all religions bring you to God" or something like that ... but it would be beneficial for you to research all "protestants" denominations, starting with Lutherans ... and so on ... I emphasize on "personal research" don't fall on believing again what other people tells you ... do your own research and invite the Holy Spirit to help you.

  OMG shunning story

  my wife and i went to fedex / kinko's this afternoon and ran into a girl who was df'ed several years ago, (her parents are quite the rabid jw's.).

  they have two daughters, and the younger one recently got married at the kh.. the older one who we were talking to proceeded to tell us that she decided to attend her younger sisters wedding ceremony which was fine despite the fact that nobody talked to her.. but after the wedding she was basically ushered out of the hall.

  she was not allowed to participate in any pictures, or allowed to speak to the new couple.

  My niece, who is not a JW anymore because she was sexually abuse by a female pioneer almost 7+ years, was told by her family that she couldn't see her nephews unless she attend the meetings. Yeap. That's my LOVING JW family. They could care less about how my niece might feel after years of abuse, her case was diagnosed as cronic sexual abuse, yet my own sister, her mother, is worst than a beast and will give her support only if my niece return to the congregation. Very sad. My niece just turned 21 and I am the only one who supports her 100% emotionally. I wish my sister sees the light one day. My niece needs her. She needs her mom to comfort her without strings attached.

  I do believe in the resurrection ... but I leave all the details to Jesus. It is a topic that I take by Faith. There are many opinions on the subject. Do your research. Ask God to reveal the answer, you'll see that in due time you will find what you are looking for ... keep knocking, keep asking, keep searching.

  with no hope of any life afterwards?.

  You know, this morning I saw a rainbow over my neighborhood, of course, I am reminded of the God's first covenant

  And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. 16 Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

  If you still believe in the bible ... Have you ever wonder, ponder about this ... have you asked God to give you insight into this ... to this day we still see the rainbow ... is God teasing us ... is He being cruel ... reminding us constantly that He will never use the waters to destroy all life BUT He will use fire, lighting, earthquakes, hail and all the depictions of the book of Revelations --LOL!

  Is the Watchtower Armageddon the same "biblical Armageddon" - a literal place on earth?

  There is a lot to ponder regarding what were taught in the past ... do not be afraid, take courage and ask God to teach you
