For the board atheists....

i enjoy discussions with folks of this persuasion; in general they appear well read and somewhat more educated than many believers.
as a group most atheists cringe and become insensed when discussing the existence of a deity with believers especially fundamentalists.

so, for a while now jw's have been voicing the familiar "it can't go on...things are so hard".
i'm in the usa, and the economics are tough, relative to this country.

If Pope indicted in International Court, Why Not the GB?

if the pope is indicted by the international court and found guilty, could the gb be indicted for protecting elders, who abuse children, or for not advising child abuse victums to go to civil authorities?
if the gb is found guilty of not following victoria's child protection laws and an elder in victoria raped/abused a child after 2002, could the gb be indicted in the international court, because gb members would refuse to surrender to australian authorities?.

Getting rid of the Book Study - a way to isolate the JW?
by skeeter1 inthe book study meeting was cancelled a while back.
the watch tower said that it was to provide for a family study night and high gas costs.
hmmm.. i thought about the cancellation of the book study meeting after listening to another pastor discus his mega-churchs dependence on small circle groups.

Right Alfred. The earliest church found (see above link) featured seating in a circle, with no provenance to any man.
But at the WT club hall, by the time we studied the "Revelation Climax Book' the third time;
the anointed "stars" of Christ's brothers (the 24 elders), were turned into the local elders in Christ's hands!
What prideful insolence! Truly there was no denying their apostasy from the truth by then!
This shows their total rejection of Jesus brothers in their midst; hence, Jesus himself!
Therefore they; like the man of lawlessness, impale Christ anew and make themselves the mediator before God!
What insane lies, their deaths will be by the truly anointed who meet Jesus in heaven for the battle!
