the watchtower published anthony morris iii's autobiography last year ... "remembering my first love has helped me to endure" by anthony morris iii.

i absolutely cannot believe how quickly he became a jehovah's witness.

in the span of less than a year, he attended his first meeting, studied, got baptized, became a pioneer, and married a jw girl.

I know I have told you guys about this before but at the 2014 convention in Atlanta, there was a huge lightening/thunderstorm during the closing talk.

Morris was giving the talk and made an announcement from the Chairman's office for everyone to delay leaving for 10 minutes after the close because an unusually strong cell was moving through right then.

So after he made that announcement he offhandedly said

" I could ask my big brother to stop it but he is busy"

It was obvious he was calling Jesus his big brother and it seemed to cause a rather uneasy laughter to ripple through the crowd.

I sat there stunned. I couldnt believe the casual, yet really convinced of his own words, way he said it!

i know that in the past some have asked about this.

i would add that before you dry the matzoh, run a docker over the cracker or prick it all over with a fork.

this is supposed to prevent large "blisters" from forming, and the dough enjoys it.. .

What is the Education Level of the Governing Body members?

i would love to compile a list of the education obtained by the governing body members both past and present.

can anyone provide any information to get me started?.

it still amazes me they think they can translate ancient languages with an 8th grade education.

I think I remember hearing (reading) that Freddie Franz had an old Jewish scholar/friend that had clearance to come and go at headquarters and that this man helped him translate.

Do I have that right?

Anyone?

i was really puzzled when i opened this edition of the wt magazine at the above “study”.

what on earth has this picture at the top of page 13 got to do with christian watchfulness?

i wasn’t making a connection at all.

And the two gabby sisters...they are sitting but talking (gasp) the effrontery of it all!

nothing like the old hall it's built next to.. the small room in the video is the indoctrination education center.. the building is completed one year ahead of schedule.

my guess: it's either much simpler than they originally planned, and/or they had more volunteers because nothing else is being built.. video is dutch, but nothing interesting is said anyway..

Yes, I saw the Org sign and thought the same as you did yodastar.

That is one thing that seems to transcend all other things with them these days.

Thank you for posting this video Anders. I like being able to see what is going on all over the world.

I was surprised the floors in the auditorium were not carpeted. The chairs also seemed more on the lower end side as to price.

I dont know if that is the style of public building there or if this is new?

You mentioned it is nothing like the old one so I am thinking maybe this is the new look of things to come.
