  can anyone verify the new "basic pioneer" rumor?

  so it's rumored started by one member that there is a new pioneer rank called basic pioneer, announced at annual meeting.

  can anyone verify this is true?

  everything else presented at the meeting has been verified except this.

  Here are the 3 things I CANNOT verify

  !) Basic Pioneering (10 hours)

  2) New Service Meeting part replacing Local Needs where individuals will give their experiences

  3) Bethelites with 5 or more years of service can do missionary service

  At this point I havent seen verification anywhere on these 3.

  My personal thought?

  I think the first one is a bad idea because it is going to discourage pioneers who are putting in the big hours.

  The second one is a bad idea because it encourages too much "free expression" the Watchtower study doesnt even allow that!

  The third one I dont know enough about to comment on.

  I think it is a rumor. Why? Because it would be so stupid to do that....

  I dont think the powers that be are THAT stupid...............

  yet.

  But just put me in the I want to know if it is true or not line. I have no way of knowing.

  AGM 2014 - How are faders gonna hide in plain sight anymore?

  so two big changes in the org were announced in the most recent agm.. local needs part is replaced by "how do you know the truth" where all members will tell their experience (oh what fun).

  basic pioneer role 10 only hours a month required (see, jehovah lightens our load, therefore he loves only us)!.

  it seems like they have really turned up the heat here.

  I have familiy members at the GM and they made no mention of that.

  It could be they accidently left it out but I am not sure?

  I read over on one of the pro witness sites that the 10 hour thing is a rumor.

  I have no idea what is what. I have been waiting to see what gets written on THIS site since this is where I come to find out

  Hi Nosferatu,

  Were you young(ish) when he talked with your mom about you?

  There are a lot of elders (well some, maybe a lot is a big word for it) that basically think young people are trouble. Maybe you got put in that category by him.

  Men like that are going to still feel that way even when they are not elders.

  Just because someone leaves "the truth" doesnt automatically make them a better person.

  You did a nice thing, you reached out, now you can let him go his own way.

  i just got a job teaching in a school run by moderate muslims.

  the students are muslim and do their prayers at school and have daily quran lessons.

  my job is to teach art, english literacy and literature, and history.
