  ok heres latest at kh .i have a friend of mine who is df but trying to get reinstated i know you may ask why but its a free country anyway he is a frienldly chap and likes to say hello to old friends.

  he does his hellos very discreetly not makeing a scene.

  well the elders have noticed him saying hello to people at hall so they invited him in back room.

  Reflecting on my Disfellowshipping

  today is the day.. i was baptized as one of jehovah's witnesses on march 25th 1989.disfellowshipped for admitted apostasy today, september 10th 2015.. what an amazing story we all share.

  how did we get involved with this group and think this was the best way of life?.

  i asked my wife to stay home from the meeting tonight and spend the evening with me.she is.... we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary this past monday.. i must admit, i never saw any of this coming, but it couldn't have come sooner.i'm free of all the fake friendships.

  I was over at the pro JW site last night and they were bristling about this site...wondering HOW we can even have this site be named what it is....(gasp) LOL

  Apparently they think they own the name they call God?

  sorry folks. - you dont own the universe. Or God - or anything really - including your own Kingdom Halls

  I dont know if they even own their trademark logo yet although I think I read they did manage at least that.

  I am glad to see them bristle.....

  bout time they had to think.

  I love going to JWArchive..I just get busy and forget.

  guess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.

  the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

  It is my belief that the average "rank and file" wishes they would just drop it.

  Just let them shrug it off and pretend its not there.

  No thinking person is buying this and it makes people have to struggle with it each time they bring it up again.

  I have a really good friend that reads there and has even posted his pics there. I love that he is getting some real truth and it doesnt have to come from me.

  Name Things You Can't Do If You Are JW...or not supposed to do

  witnesses are not supposed to stand for the national anthem but can stand for a flag salute.. you can't say bless you if someone sneezes, good luck!, or " you too" if someone says, happy holidays.. it is a religion of cannot dos.

  everything is pagan and worldly.. what are things that are unacceptable to jehovah's witnesses that really are no big deal to everyone else?

  No throwing the bouquet at weddings..

  no throwing rice either. Throwing must be "of the Devil" since it couldnt be the pagan - ness of it elsewise wedding rings would be taboo, right?

  Oops. Sorry. That would be reasonable and consistent. I forgot myself!

  So where were we...no rice, no bouquet throwing...ah yes..pagan rings ok.

  No toasting by the best man, no garter toss, no "suggestive" music. Keep non suggestive music low volume (such fun dancing that is!)

  The tradition of a money tree is WRONG but an envelope with a card and money inside is RIGHT (isnt the paper of the cards made from trees?)

  No being alone before the wedding - chaperoned is the order of the day, HOWEVER - once you walk down that aisle, listen to that elder drone on, say "I do" and eat some cake, you are allowed to go have sex like a rabbit as many times as you want.

  The paperwork that makes you legally wedded will sit on the wedding officiants desk until the mail goes out on Monday which means (if the wedding was on a Saturday) a good 48 hours of sex before anything legal happens.

  But that is not of any concern...just dont throw rice or play that music loud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Dint forget that they cant celebrate Halloween except for buying the candy the next day at sale prices - the candy becomes clean over night.

  The same applies to Easter bunny eating (see above)

  although I have seen LOTS of pioneers buy Cadbury eggs while out in field service - not sure how that slipped through the cracks hmm...

  Then there is no baking your turkey till Friday at Thanksgiving....and NO Christmas presents UNLESS you get a free turkey or ham from work and then it is ok....

  a Xmas bonus is ok too (see above)

  No drinking champagne on New Years Eve and NO firecrackers..

  drinking the minute you get back to your motel after an assembly Holy Day is ok however...

  the same with going out to eat right after the Holy Assembly Day,,,,be careful - if you take a visiting Bethel speaker out to eat they will KILL your alcohol budget for dinner by imbibing heavily.

  No firecrackers on 4th of July (U.S.) but the "buy them on sale and do it later" rule applies here also (see above)

  Picnics are ok on the 4th but you must NOT have any red, white or blue food combinations.

  Drinking is ok on the 4th of July (unlike New Years Eve but the firecracker rule carries over)

  Uber Bethelites in Brazil

  so i see my uber cousins from bethel are flying around the world again, this time in brazil to instruct the brothers on construction purchases in central and south america!

  lots of pics with them partying with locals and being wined and dined, something the rank and file will never know!
