It is interesting how they "borrow" from one another.
When JWs introduced Caleb and Sophia (the children that were characters they claimed they invented) we had a thread here about an interesting development.
The development was that the Mormons had 2 young characters FIRST that the JW ones were clones of.
The thread had some posters who did a bit of digging and i I remember correctly there was some evidence presented that looked like JWs had hired the same consulting firm the Mormons had hired.
Obviously, JWs were concerned about the high rate at which they were/are losing young people. The Mormons have their own problems with that but still do better than the witnesses.

curt schilling, a former red sox player who is conservative today reported how his insurance company suddenly dropped him even though he was an excellent consumer with them because of his “ views”.
he was marked by those in charge and evidently was told by the rep he knew that they didn’t like his political views.

By any objective comparison, anything Trump said was milder, certainly no worse, than what many many other politicians have said, most of them on the left. They have actually called for violence and when the violence happened they claim no responsibility for it.

I thought it was just being done as a political move to insure Trump can't run again in four years? That is one of the provisos attached to being impeached - you cant hold federal office.
Is that correct?
So all the time and TAXPAYER money being used for this impeachment to give the Democrats what they perceive as an advantage in the next election?

by minimus ini think that for the most part, dissenting views should be allowed to exist because of free speech principles.
one person may strongly feel that something is true while someone else may present “facts” that support the opposing view.
when that is the case, healthy discussion is mostly productive.
