athiest = someone that doesn't beleive god exists.
agnostic = someone that beleives it's not possible to know if god exisits.
i suppose agnostic isn't going too far, but athiest...any way you toss the dice, there is no hope for the future. the only way you can get around it is if you believe that we live on after death somehow. uh oh! that's what 99% of all religions teach! crap! we're headed down that path again.

a better solution would be to say:
idiots are idiots, regardless of what religion they practice.
just because some says they believe in god doesn't mean everything they do is from him.
i know a girl that has an alcoholic father. that's her reality. she hates that he's that way, but he's her dad regardless.
same with god.
if someone says they're god's messenger but acts crazy, god is still there, but he obviously isn't on their side.

i guess if you don't want to believe in a creator that's fine. you will enjoy this thing called life for a few decades and then cease to exist. hope it was fun for you. but who cares if it was? you won't remember a thing. and no one will remember you.

two ladies came to my door asking for deaf people.
it was a wham-bam-thank-ya man type of approach, they seemed eager to get to the next door.. all i gathered from their presentation, if i were just a normal householder, was that they were from some sort of religious group (they did not give their name) and that they wanted me to freely give out names and phone numbers of the deaf friends i know.
i said i didn't know any deaf people and they were on their way.. i knew exactly what was happening, but for most people it would just be an odd break in their daily routine.
i think i can put two and two together for you. since you lack ability.
JWs are the only organization in the world, religious or otherwise, that puts forth effort to help people freely in their own language, in hundreds of languages!
so there are many congregations for those different languages and obviously they aren't going to focus on you because you speak english and there's thousands of congregations already equipped to serve the english speaking community. those two ladies, if they were witnesses, were focused on the deaf community. it's call organization.
JWs don't target deaf people or any other group. they target everyone! oh no! lol so you can go to japan and rest assured that someone from an english speaking congregation will be calling on you soon. that's what happens when holy spirit is at work, God's will gets accomplished.
so don't think that you can go anywhere in this small world and get away from God's people! you can easily get away from any other church tho cuz they don't care about you enough to seek you out.
does anyone still sometimes get that guilty feeling?
you know, be honest, whenever a certain day comes around you felt like you had to be somewhere?
like for me: tues,thurs, & sun.
guilt is an emotion that can serve us if we listen to it.
guilt tell us that there's a belief that we know is important that we are breaking.
how do get rid of guilt? simple. by identifying the belief and what we are doing to break it, and stop doing it.
in your example you know that you're supposed to be at christian meetings to worship Jehovah and to encourage your brothers and sisters, but you're not doing it, so your mind is prodding you because instead of doing what's right (i.e. looking out for your fellow man) you decide to pursue selfish things during that time.
jehovah's witnesses have an invisible problem which is as unseen as jesus.
the problem with their problem is that it is unseen.. what do i mean by this?.
no future.. the future jehovah's witnesses prepare for is not their future at all.. the jw future is armageddon (very soon!

oh wait, i know, i'll use all of that on-the-job training to start my own janitorial company, work part time hours and get paid the fulltime wages that these idiots are making that go to college that don't care about spiritual things.

don't blame others because you're lazy and don't take initiative. being a JW is the best way of life and you learn invaluable skills that help you throughout your worklife and personal life.
one of the things that used to annoy me in the new testament was the "believe in jesus" message.
any explainations seemed fuzzy at best so i decided to take a run at it from behind and find the definintion of an un-believer.here is what i came up with and i welcome other opinions.
many of the people around jesus were jews, they walked with him, talked with him, listened to his teachings and witnessed his miracles.
one word: ransom.
jesus, on earth, was merely a perfect human, that is to say, a sinless human.
he had to be that and nothing more, nothing less. otherwise the ransom wouldn't have been paid.
adam = perfect man
adam sinned, so sin spread to all his offspring.
jesus = perfect man
jesus died as that same perfect man, thus repurchasing or ransoming all of adam's offspring.
if jesus was anything other than a perfect sinless human, his sacrifice would have been applaudable but wouldn't have repurchased anything.
another topic in the friends section was about a convention talk titled "who are preaching the good news of the kingdom"?
it brought several thoughts to mind.. of course it is only jehovah's witnesses doing that because most everything they do is in disobedience to jesus.
yes, jesus did talk to the jews about the kingdom.
this makes so much sense! ...when you take it out of context.
there are so many scriputres that show that the jews as a whole were rejected but a remnant of them would be chosen to be heavenly preists with christ, then the samaratans, then the gentiles.

i've often thought it weird how jar hoover was going to lovingly murder all non jw's soon (terms and conditions apply and are subject to 'overlapping').
then the good ones would live in paradise happy that their family, friends and loved ones all died because jar hoover would mess with their minds.. recently i've been worshipping in a church but the same scenario has posed itself in a different way.
if good christians go to heaven whilst family, friends and loved ones who don't believe go to hell...........what's the difference from believing that to believing the jw nonsense???????.
jesus said that only those that sin against the holy spirit would have no resurrection.
simple as that.
jehovah being the merciful god he is, he will no doubt take into consideration all factors pertaining to an individual, not just wether he was a JW or not. JWs as an organization have only been around for a handful of years anyways. the purpose of them today is to fill all the remaining number of those going to heaven and to prepare a people for the new system on earth.
that's all the details we know.
likely we will be pleasantly surprised at what jehovah reveals to everyone in the new world. but knowing every detail isn't a requirement for serving god. Abraham didn't know hardly anything about how god's purpose would come to pass but he acted on what he did know and where did that get him? Jehovah used him to bring forth a nation and the messiah, among other things.
lesson: don't let details hinder you from what you know you should do.
