too late for your situation, but i'd treat her as i've come to treat my jw family: leave religion, the truth, jehovah (and the rest of that jw baggage) out of all conversations... unless they bring it up.

and even then, don't expect much.

I forgot to address what you said about me not liking the H2O posters. I did not like the fighting (much like this thread now) that was going on at H2O. It was a turn off for me when I was looking for a DB to join. I am sure there are many like me now who are looking for a DB, and stumble upon this insanity, and are turned off as well. I am part responsible for contributing to this thread. With that in mind I am taking my leave.

I suggest that anyone who wants to continue this "we are better than you, give me an Amen, high five at ya, I agree he is an asshole," type of discussion really think why you are doing this. Surely it can only be for selfish gain. The Net is big enough for all of us IMO, those who must continue to stir contentions, and can't let go need to really turn off the PC and smell the roses. Or move on to a place that is more healthier for them. There are too many Jw's and Ex-Jw's in pain and needing comfort, for us to play "As the Web Turns"

Since you never went to H20, and you were pleased at it's problems, and didn't like the H20 posters......how would you know so well the rules of the old H20?From whom did you learn them? Perhaps you only heard of one side of the rules?

Let me reply to the part I understand. I was registered at H2O, I posted at H2O, I was deleted at H2O, I went to H2O(had to, to get registered, post, and get deleted there.)So the first part of your statement is incorrect. How would I know of the rules of H2O? I read the FPP after I was deleted there. So I know, that I was deleted for no other reason than they did not like what I had to say, not because I broke a rule. As for me being pleased at it's problems...I have no idea what you are talking about. Could you expand on that half a thought for me?

I think this whole discussion is so silly Teejay, you know you are not liked by Kent. You made several comments on this forum concerning his new board. You posted here that you registered, and would keep everyone posted as to what happened. Kent saw you were there and didn't want you there...simply logical with your history. He deleted you and lookie what we have here. A fine example of you causing problems, want the link? Who gives a crap if you were deleted on another board? Do you think that a JW who is searching for friendship and answers is going to enjoy this topic? What exactly are doing to Simon's now?

Please, please, please do me a favor and show me you have a bit of brain here Teejay. Review Alan's response to you. I doubt he will be back to point out the errors in your reply, they are so plain I could see them in the pitch dark. If you need a walk through I will help.

As for Kent opening his own forum, he has made it clear it is *HIS* and he will delete who he wants. There is no hypocrisy here. Yes he has cried free speech in the past, but only at places that have said they are willing to let the free speech flow. When the rules were changed at H2O that is when the problems started. When the rules were enforced here for certain members and not others, that is when the problems started. Of course this is all my humble opinion.

As for Kent's board it is up and running again. I guess there was a server error and he had to delete all old posts. So anyone who thinks they were deleted it was because of this or Kent decided he doesn't want you there. I had to re-register myself.

Is rejection so hard to take for some people that they have to carry this on and on and on and on? Is the battle so enjoyable that you have to continue it after a person has left the building? You are a trouble maker Teejay, but I have to agree with Farkel, you come and go with it. Sometimes you can make some good threads, and some of yuor replies are worth reading and pondering. As for *this* though, this is exactly what Kent is trying to avoid. 5 pages of unnecessary jabs, insults, and high fives.

Get a clue Todd, you're slipping man.

I said I didn't want to argue semantic, or play cut and paste. But I must say that there is a large amount of time between Tina's last posting to Amazing and her comments in December. I am sure there was said something between that time, and I am sure that Amazing posted in that time. So unless I went back and read and recopied all of the comments made between them, there really is no telling if Tina made any negative comments or if she decided to stop posting in his threads. During that time she could have changed(actually it is obvious she did change her mind) on his posting style and character.

Now the "evidence" that Tina is a proven liar is based on what? One post that was written close to 6 months after the last comment she posted concerning the series. As I said this is reaching on Amazing's part. I felt the need to jump in and say something about it. I really don't want to argue, but I couldn't sit by and see this one go, and I can't stand that he is proclaiming all over the board she is a liar. She has been nothing but upfront and honest on and off this board.

You are bordering on breaking the new rules of no personal attacks. Surely if you make such a claim, you have proof to back them up. To question a person's identity and character is not taken likely by me. I have been here for a very long time, anyone who knows me will tell you that I speak my mind. As far as a person having hindsight seeing a person for who they really are. It is easy to go back and see what a mistake you made in your judgement of them. I personally can see how we can be blinded to a posters true personality and agree with some of their comments, yet looking back and taking it all in context realizing what a mistake you made. I would then have to say that everything I had read along the lines of my new "light" so to speak of them, was as I see it at that moment. Just within the last few days I am able to see another side of ones here that turns my stomach to thier posts, yes even past posts. I am able to see it all in context now, and my opinion has changed.

I am not going to argue with a thread that was posted months ago, and a statement that was made by Tina. I am not here to argue semantics or play cut and paste. I am only saying that because a person feels differently on a subject, even after agreeing with it, does not make them a liar.

If you read a very good self help book by a person, only later to find out that this person used coersion and fraud, and it was later pointed out to you. Looking back you can see the fraud plain as day. That is my only point here. Now I am really bailing out of this thread

So when you were peddling the mags, you were fully aware of all of the false prophecies they contained? And when you were giving talks about Armegeddon, you knew you weren't going to see it in your life time? I doubt it. Does that make you a liar for the talks you gave, or the mags you sold?

As for 14 weeks, 3 and a half months time frame you are bringing up, what does that have to do with anything? A person has a certain amount of time they are allowed to change their opinion?

I said I was not coming back to this thread, because frankly I do not want to discuss it further. Also I don't think it belongs on the main forum(friends) I believe this should have been posted on Adult and disagreement forum due to the nature of the thread, if not the title alone. Since you did not understand my post I will clarify for you.

I said her comments from close to a year ago of support were quoted. Now her opinion is different. In the analogy I used, we all at one point, agreed, defended, praised the org. Now, most who post here do not our outlook on it is different. Even after reading the same thing we once agreed with, we can now see the error in our thinking. I know personally I have gone back and read excerpts from mags I thought highly of, yet now I see them for the rubbish it is.

I do not think that after a person has changed their opinion on what they have read, consitutes calling them a liar. Hindsight is 20/20. Do you understand now?

I almost didn't reply to you. If I am understanding you correctly you are saying that you can't move on? You like playing on the playground? Please do try to grow up. This is incredibly childlike behavior to continue shadow boxing long after the fact. Reminds me of my daughter mumbling under her breath after her and I disagree, she can't change anything. But I bet it makes her feel better to get the last word in. The only difference is that you are doing this publicly and tainting Simon's site even more, not to mention showing us your true personality.

being tne sarcastic semi-doubter bastard i am ,i thought i would satisfy a rebellious inkling in my soul i've wanted to satisfy at the kingdom hall from earliest teenhood i wore a flag pin under my suit jacket!whoa i thought, maybe i'll get caught!

that made it irrisistable!so yesterday i did it!

LOL Dan you are too much BTW I have emailed you count them THREE times. I keep getting an email back saying that I haven't emailed you! Hotmail stinks I had alot of my mail lost from there, some I had sent and some others sent me I never recieved. If you have Yahoo installed at me as a buddy and we can chat. Or you can email my hotmail account which I occasionally read[email protected].

Sorry about missing out this weekend. Weather is pretty nasty now, I hope you are inside somewhere safe. This wind is creeping me out MAN Jumping over to the weather channel to see what is heading our way or if it is almost over. Me hopes it is almost over.
