  Poll: Affection or sex

  if...... you had to choose just one to have for the rest of your life, which would it be?

  affection or sex?

  by affection here i mean snuggling, kissing, hand holding, all the little things.

  Well I would want both, but if I had to choose I would say affection, I mean if you just want sex with out all the other things that go along with it, then you should just go masterbate.

  did man go to the moon?.

  just watched an amazing programme that claimed the moon landings were faked.i was supprised at how compeling the evidence against a moon landing was.anyone know more about the subject?.

  if it is true that this didn't happen it raises a whole lot of questions about how trust worthy our governments are.

  hmmm. But they had the technology to do it for real. Makes NO sense what so ever. Sorry but not biting.LOL

  Oh lord, another idiot in our midst, I was talking about Video Technology not space technology! Your the one that doesn't make any sense. And I have never been to the moon, however I do know how light works, I do know what a set looks like, and I do know when a video has been faked. Faking photographs is fairly easy, it's not easy to fake motion video period.

  Your a fool if you believe this was a hoax, I AM a video professional, I worked many years in the Broadcast television industry, simply put, they did NOT have the technology to fake something like this back then, hell all video transmissions were analog, not digital like they are now, including the camera equipment, they didn't have CCD's in camera's back then. I've seen the moon through a telescope, and it looks just like it did on the video, the motion was too smooth to be faked, I could go into more detail why this is not faked. But ultimattes weren't around back then.

  Romance status

  just curious as to who is single and who is not on this board.i have been with my boyfriend going on 3 years now.

  we just moved in together in feb.for the most part we get along great but he has some weird habits.he also thinks i spend too much time on this site(which i do...but heck i finally belong!!

  )so its hard to relate to him on the subject.he thinks i should just forget about it.sometimes i think i might be better off with someone who has more or less been where i have.

  I voted for the first time

  well actually it was about two weeks ago now, but i was just talking with another x-jw friend yesterday who commented how significant it was for her.

  i'm not particularly political, i don't have strong opinions on politics, but it was pretty cool being free to do something that i had always been taught to believe was a terrible sin.. you see here in new zealand there was a general election held on july 27. all my life i have been in the borg and subsequently never voted, it wasn't allowed.

  voting would have made me "part of satan's system of things" and all that.. so for the month or so leading up to the election i paid extra attention to the political situation in the country and made a decision and when the day came, i made my way to the polling place (the local high school hall) and voted.. just thought i'd share that with you all.

  I haven't gotten to vote yet, but I am registered, btw do you know in some other countrys witenesses are allowed to vote, like venezuela, my jw sister lived there for almost 2 years.

  My Family

  as many of you know alot of my family are jehovah's witnesses, i was a 3rd gen, untill i left over 10 years ago, however my brother, dad, and sister all have doubts now, they see the hypocrasy, my brother is fading away, my dad is ready ray franz's books, but both my dad and sister are staying witnesses for now, thinking they can change it from the inside, which i know they can't, they see the hypocrasy, in fact my sister is dfed and she's trying to get reinstated, stating she's doing it for my mom, who is still fanatical about it, and she said she want's her husband to try to get a job through one of the brothers, she said she's just going to play they're game and use them.

  i tried to point out how wrong that is, and how on a level it's exactly the same thing they're doing, she even confirmed that in other country's witnesses can vote, they can at least in venzuela where she was living for the last couple of years, where she met her current husband.

  it's funny out one side of the mouth she agree's with me how hypocritcal it is, then goes on to defend certain aspects, always dancing around the subject, saying other religions aren't any better, and i asked why do you need to be a member of a religion if you believe that?
