  Why did God wait so long to have a special people?

  i was thinking the other day, why did it take so long for god to have a special people, namely the nation of israel.. and when he did choose his people, it's as if god ignored every other culture and nation on earth only to focus on abraham, isaac and there descendants.. there was no way of learning about the one true god in those days unless you lived near the borders of the israelite nation.. if you read the minor prophet books of the bible, it seems as if god is addressing the whole world, when in reality, people living in other countries at the time would have no idea of these "universal proclamations".

  why did god not give guidance to these other societies?.

  Good post.

  The crime it seems, is to be born in the wrong culture, with its own references of life, like worship.

  It's the same today; according to most christian religions, a serial child rapist/killer can "find Christ" an hour before his execution and be "saved", while a good Hindu husband and father, helping his community all his life, will go to hell because he didn't embrace Christ while having "heard" about him (for the JWs, he will die at Armageddon for also being born in the wrong culture, as well as his wife and children along with him).

  But that's Jehovah all the way. He punished Adam & Eve (and all of humanity) for eating from the tree of 'knowledge of good and bad' — while logically they could not have known what "bad" was before that!

  Gods logic is weird. Before dying they "will know he is Jehovah!"
  Yet dead, nobody can learn a lesson from that...

  A mole within the FDS!

  it has been now verified that there was a traitor within the gb!.

  an insider had the courage and audacity to verify this, taking the risk of being kicked out of bethel, with a cross carved on his forehead.. it became apparent that all the men of the gb where naturally bald, even when some tried to hide it with a clever and stylistic comb-over.

  but there was some suspicion that pierce and losch were not true bald men.

  Irony: JWs who refuse to answer their door on Halloween!

  with halloween fast approaching, it struck me looking back how ironic it was when the worm turned every year on halloween, when jws turn off the porch light, draw the curtains, stumble around in the dark, etc.

  when the worldlies come to knock on their door, lol!.

  on the other hand, i remember the family escaping from the fortress at dusk to go to a movie, bowling, etc.

  On Facebook, check it all the time, and I get cell-alarms for any activity on it — I check out this site by waves. Like now, it's about 10 times a day! LOL... When it gets too serious, I take a break.
  When I'm in my JWN mode, I usually ignore my FB, and vie-versa...

  I know some younger kids come here to get some answers. If this kind of stuff can help them take things with a smile, GOOD! I have done something good.
  I just posted a video on halloween on Adamah's post. I know most will think it's stupid — but I'm not wasting an hour of my time to make a video for them — I'm doing it for the kids.
  
  99.9% of the posts here are understandably adult and serious. Sometimes, I will be the silly one... for the kids. So there! LOL!
