I can only add that I don't know.
AND... I see no good evidence here to prove racket from the WTS (that I hate).
It's sad to see some of us speculate without evidence.
I will speak when I know. Period.

A "follow up" meeting?!?!
by DATA-DOG inwell, now they want a follow up visit!
when you tell the elders that you have doubts and they say " its okay, we have had our doubts.
having doubts is not apostasy.

Like DesirousOfChange posted,
"Postpone (not reschedule) indefinitely.
Be polite so as not to mess up your fade."
Best advice.

How Accurate Is JWN In Your Opinion?
by minimus inwould you say this board gives accurate information, overall?
if someone started reading the comments here, do you think they would find this discussion board as accurate?.

Accuracy is the product of fact-checking, proper evidence, and not based on hearsay. Simple as that.
So I wouldn't claim accuracy here because there is way too much emotion involved, and opinion rules.
However, the volume of comments points to an accurate overall feeling of being used and controlled.
So the main ambiance here can be said to be an accurate depiction of what's happening within this cult.
My favorite quote of all times is Bertrand Russell's:
"Either the thing is true, or it isn't. If it is true, you should believe it, and if it isn't, you shouldn't. And if you can't find out whether it's true or whether it isn't, you should suspend judgment." -

Haha! I wish, right Ocean1111? :D
Nonetheless — they will have to face the fact that for over 130 years — while claiming to be chosen and benefitting of the Holy Spirit — they have NEVER been right on their predictions. Not ONCE. Their only strength is to have been capable of demonizing enquiry... of turning apostates into villains serving satan. Fear. That's where we need to push. -

How many of you hesitate because of the fear of God?
by braincleaned ini turned atheist before i focused on the borg.
so being blasphemous is nothing to me; like they say, it's a victimless crime.. .
but how many of you stay put in fear of jehovah's judgement?.

Thank you all for these deep responses. It's easy for no one to cut the many cords that the Borg has gradually hooked us to.
It's a dangerous cult — but it will have its end, just like Harold Caming and his "new light" crap did also... -

IC 2014 talk: "A Century of Kingdom Rule Contrasted With a Century of Satans Rule"
by AnnOMaly ina discussion of this talk on friday morning deserves its own thread.

the speaker was manfred vencebi (google him - he's a bethel bigwig) and some of his remarks are real gems.

It just proves how incredibly STUPID Jehovah is. OCD asshole who invents shit for absolutely NOTHING.
How ANYONE cannot see that this deity is the invention of ignorant and superstitious idiots is amazing to me. -

Villagegirl, if I may -- I don't need for them to get it. As I said above, this letter was aimed on other than the Borg. (See comment 1080)
Besides, it is because I know scripture well that I am atheist. And it makes just as much sense that I enclude these two thoughts, than it would for a vegan to refer to carnivor's words and reference.

But how many of you stay put in fear of Jehovah's judgement?
Do you realize that the Borg plays on your belief?
Do many of you fear the "what ifs" of Faith, and the idea that they could be right?
Please share your thoughts on this. I want to understand...
