cedars - I most certainly have been on the receiving end of KS' argument style and although feeling that he was being a bit of an a**hole what he was trying to say made sense.
I think if he was thrown off of the board because of this situation it would be a big loss for the board.

thanks for that kathleen and candace and we do appreciate all the work cedars does but he also has a responsiblity not to go around misinterpreting what people say to him. He appears to posses the ability to do so.
KS had made some valid points about cedar's articles as have others here on JWN. They have offered valuable insights and I cannot stand by and see them silenced simply because cedars is digging his heels in
i have noticed that there is a lot of angst directed towards believers and non believers so i thought i would make a thread explaining how it all works from my own perspective.
the reality is that neither believers nor unbelievers are right or wrong, they simply are, if that makes sense.
to better understand the perspective ideologies i have constructed a map so to speak of how it all works.. the fact is that we are all products of our environment, we cannot escape this at first, but we can eventually, but first we have to accept that we were first a product of our environment.
thanks sab - this is just what I was looking for - a scientist critiquing science, but for me this enhances science and scientific endeavour.

we need more scientsts coming out and speaking against how their inventions are used - I have hardly ever seen or heard a scientist do this - if you know of any please provide a link.

both sides can use theocratic warfare strategy imo KS. At least on this site cedar's "theocratic warfare strategy" will be questioned and he will take steps to modify his speculations. The society simply silences questioners. I think that cedars journalism is healthy for this site provided he lets us debate what he says.
I can think of more than a few jounalists who have helped bring down unpopular governments/organisations. Jean Paul Marat comes to mind.
