yup life certainly is too short.
I'm also trying to get busy with many things i have been leaving undone.
i also apologise for saying you are nuts and anything else i said that upset you.. i realise now that many problems result from differing perceptions - for example some of us tend more towards being realists whilst others tend more towards being idealists (of course this is a little simplistic) but it was my bingo moment this morning.
i guess i am enough of an idealist to appreciate your writing and overall i think it is excellent.
what i mean to say about idealism is that we would all like to see the wt go down and to believe that they are very short of money, on the brink of survival and this is such an encouraging image that may indeed be close to the truth.

What I mean to say about idealism is that we would all like to see the WT go down and to believe that they are very short of money, on the brink of survival and this is such an encouraging image that may indeed be close to the truth. However, a realist will come along and say 'but we have been thinking this for the last 20 years and nothing has happened to them they have stacks of resourdes and money' - this is not very encouraging for present day fighters but if it means that some will decide to get on with their lives instead of continuing to spend precious resources on the WT, good for them.
nevertheless, I am very grateful to those who believed that if they stayed and fought it would make an appreciable difference and I believe that it has though more in individual lives rather than to WT itself. I think part of the reason that the WT continues to succeed and will continue to do so is that many who tend towards idealism, especially the young, will continue to be ensnared by talk of a paradise earth and justice for all.
anyway when I am being a complete realist I have a lot to disagree with in what you have to say but when i am being an idealist I applaud you
edit: I am trying also to reply to your question about how changeable I seem to be to you

cedars an individual has to repeatedly break the guidlines and even then the consequence is that one may be prevented from posting.
I also disagree strongly with nathan nates being banned and yes I am contravening guidlines but they are just that guidlines not rules.
edit: you are making yourself ill - please go for a walk or something

cedars
it is best to try and and sort this out here and now without bringing in the mods or simon. Most here say that they enjoy and respect you, they have no disagreement with your articles. there are only a few voices of dissent. just ignore dissenters for now.

guys KS was not misquoting or misrepresenting cedars. go back and take a look. all KS was saying that in a defamation lawsuit if you began your sentence with well so and so does it therefore why can't I then you will be in trouble - no matter that you go on to say but I am willing to make corrections unlike the statesman.
another thing is that cedars hasn't really made any real corrections to his article so in other words he is practicing the idea of that if the statesman can do so why can't I whilst paying lipservice to being willing to make corrections when it is pointed out that his article is very misleading and verges on lying.
As far as I'm concerned if cedars wants to use theocratic warfare strategy to get attention then that's his problem. But at least lets be clear that there is substance to accusations that cedars writes misleading stuff. Mind you in the world at large misleading stuff does get attention and once the spotlight is turned on people do take notice even if it is just to dismiss the story as being full of holes.
but it's a dangerous game that can backfire as KS has been at pains to point out
