  What I said to my wife

  all - so my wife told me she was going to the kh yesrterday.

  it has been a couple of months so i was a bit disappointed but i sucked it in.

  i thought about it for a while and when we had a quiet moment together i said to her: "i know you need to make an appearance every once in a while to avoid the risk of being asked to da yourself and being shunned.

  First post after a year or two of lurking on this site-Sorry for the length!

  not sure of the point of telling my story, but just got off the phone with my grandma and i am so angry, stressed and i don't know what else...i guess i just wanted to hear from someone other than my husband that i'm not crazy for my reaction to family interaction.. my condensed story gramatical errors and all :).

  father was a born in jw, mother was a convert.

  i was born the last of 3 siblings and shortly after my birth in 1981 my parents divorced.

  I dont think Villiagegirl was trying to be rude.I think it made her angry to read of your suffering.
  Sometimes when we explode in anger it comes out wrong. You seem to be doing so well now
  Good for you. I think the suggestion of writing a book,is a great advice.
  I am the OLDEST on board,so cant remember the name of the other newbie that posted on this
  page but said it sounds like that one suffered from abuse also WELCOME to you both
  Glad you joined this "family" I am the Granny,a mouthy one but at 86 ( 87 in May) I am allowed.
  Oh I was a JW for over 25 years before I was kicked out because I didnt see Jesus come invisably

  Oh I am so very sorry to read of all the suffering your going through ,been through..
  Here I am nearly 87... All my family is going through sufferings, but old me!!!Still here.
  So when I read all these suffering you know what I do??? ( Atheist please dont read)

  Well what did I do today?first i took two tablespoons of COD LIVER OF Malt ( Yummy) that is what keeps me
  not kicking the bucket. Then My daughter Susan & Bill ( hubby ) took me to J.Js for lunch,My treat!
  Then We went to the Bible mission store I bought a ornament of a little boy & girl kissing.& a bunch of cards B/day

  The sun is shining but it is cold the snow is melting.Yesterday A friend came to visit...He is married to a JW.
  He just spoke at his church about JWS & why when they knock at your door you should tell them the false
  dates they have preached ....
  Now I am gonna watch DR PHIL> If I kick the bucket before I return .PLEASE DONT DONATE to the WT....

  well... as they say on talk back radio "i'm a long time listener, first time caller"(poster in this case!).

  i have been a "lurker" for several years, but never had the courage to take the step and join up...until now.. i really want to thank everyone for their insights and comments throughout the forum.

  although i have not contibuted to discussions, i have benefitted very much from all of your comments and observations on all topics.

  I found the answer when I asked Jesus THE WAY TRUTH LIFE to come into my heart..
  Trouble is I find so many when they leave the "lie" become Atheists.
