  Does Anyone Remember the "Around The World Assemblies"?

  so, being that it is 2013, i recall that it was 50 years ago, that the "around the world assemblies" were held.

  for those of us who lived in southern california, the first week of september was when we had the assembly, and it was held at the rose bowl in pasadena.

  yep, the rose bowl, with no seats, per se, but just those hard benches as seats.

  I was at Twickenham also.Sitting there with a black eye,My hubby had given me wanting me not to go!

  He was Catholic. I had so many hugs, from even the elders ,for fighting for Jehovah ,they told me it was a badge

  of honer((( YES I WAS STUPID!!!!!!You didnt have to remind me.....TitcH ( )
  But at my age I guess it is a good thing i can still remember .Thanks Titch!!!!

  Unwanted Books/Brochures

  not really in a position to buy them from you but i could cover postage maybe?

  my jw friend says she'll get me copies of things but never does.. apologies if here was the wrong forum place for this post.. .

  Doug Harris of Reachout Trust passed away

  sad to find out today that doug died earlier this year.

  his was the first book apostate book i ever read.

  it turned my world upside down.
