Spooky Slumber Party Games: Bloody Mary, Light As a Feather, Ouija & Spoon Bending

i bought a book for my daughter called 'the daring book for girls'.

it's really cool and has lots of fun stuff in it but there's a section on slumber parties where they describe a few games.

this has opened up some questions for me.... the first game described is 'bloody mary'.

NewChapter- Yes, you're so clever! It really is insane to think such a thing would breathe! But, how many people do you know or how many stories have you heard of people seeing a ghost? And those ghosts are always clothed, but think about it, the "clothes" they're "wearing" really don't exist, they're long gone just like the dead person someone is seeing, so I can't explain why some entity would "breath" and I can't explain why a GD ghost wears clothes, but whatever- alot of you are some narrowminded people- I'm going to bed ....

I don't think it's all a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Sure, most of the time nothing happens but sometimes it will and it's scary as shit. Once my kids and their daddy played the Ouija board on Halloween and that night when I went to bed (alone my husband was at work) something was breathing on me/ right in my face, I sat up, terrified. Nothing happened so I told myself I was imagining things. Went back to sleep / nothing happened/ very peaceful night. The next morning I went to wake my kids for school and when I went to my sons room he wasn't there (his room was RIGHT above mine) I walked down the hall to his sisters room and asked her where her brother was and she said, "He's sleeping on the floor, he came in here last night because something was breathing on him!"

I hadn't told anyone about something breathing on me and with his room being directly above mine, I believe something "came in" and traveled from my room up to his. :O

I've also heard of people lifting up with that "light as a feather" game. I mean, I've had honest sincere, normal people tell me they played that as a child and actually hung in the air.

I know most of you don't believe in the Devil and that's a damn shame. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that he exists. Now go ahead and call me crazy......

i am not a jw but one thing that they really get me on is when they call the outside world a "wicked system of things" and say it is run by the devil.

i know the world can be great and people can be wonderful but on the flip side, the bad seems to be getting worse and morals seem to be flying out the window.

i don't know, what do you guys think?

Actually, they are. What about the distribution of wealth in this country? How is it that a skank with a sex tape rakes in the millions and is glorified and thrown over every popular magazine while the poor guy who works his butt off at an honest job can hardly feed his family? Sure sounds like Satan's in control to me.

Awakes left at work....

the awake about music was left behind and ended up at the break station... and one of the girls working was reading it and burst out laughing..... are these people serious listen what it says.... after listening to heavy metal music i abused alcohol and started using drugs......... they can't really believe that?

What is this Goofus and Gallant? Is this some sort of Watchtower literature for children? I don't see what's so wrong really, My daughter had a horrible little friend growing up who was just like Goofus, now she's one of my daughter's very best "frenemies", Basically, we hate to see the girl coming. I think having some literature like that is good for children. for a long time my daughter knew something was "off" with this little girl but it took her a while to recognize her for the terror she was. I read recently a very good article in the Watchtower (or it could have been AWAKE) about having friends who were supportive instead of passive agressive and picking good association, which I completely agree with. I know some of their instruction is kooky but alot of it is very beneficial. :)
