following the deaths by shooting of 2 teenage girls last week, the uk government is speeding through even tighter gun controls than ever before.. already, high court judges have been told to impose a minimum 5 year jail sentence to anyone found in possesssion of a hand-gun in a public place.
also, consideration is being given to outlawing replica firearms as well as air powered weapons.

For the US to "outlaw" guns is not only a violation of our rights (right to bear arms) but it would also be a stupid move. The criminals who shoot and kill the vast majority of time are toting around a stolen weapon. Those who have a permit to carry a concealed weapon have to carry one in order to protect themselves, and they are not at fault for our high crime rate.

Mr. Moe,,,,,,, in that pic I am 17, and Wild is 18. God at that point in time,,,,,,,,, I just can't put into words what falling in love with him was like for me. Well, I am sure you know, first love , young love.He was so tall, handsome, funny, strong, and he was my savior in more ways than one. He still is. I think my mom had a secret crush on him too......hehhee.....no really,,,,, she used to gush at watching us,,,,, I think it reminded her of being young and in love, and by then her and Dad's romance was gone. So I understand why she was always smiling at us. I hope she still is , somewhere.

it seems a little boy i become more than close to here at the school will be up for adoption very soon, as his parents will not be allowed to have contact with him after years worth of thier case being reviewed due to child abuse and neglect.
she asked me if i would like to raise him and adopt him as my own.

I myself have thought about going into being a foster parent, but this goes to show I jsut could not do it. I would get way too attached, and if I had to send the child back to thier abusive parents it would rip my heart out. Also, what if the child in my care, in my home, part of my family came up for adoption. Then what? Am I supposed to hand them over to another family? I just could never do it.
Anyhow, talking about it helps a great deal, thank you all so very much for listening. I hope wherever he goes in life and whatever family has the gift of bringing him into thier home, he always feels loved and wanted.

I wrote about him a short while back in my blog. This is what I wrote:
At the Center where I work, there is a little boy named Robby. He is 3 years old and every single bit of him is adorable. He came to the Center about 4 months ago when he was placed in a Foster home. I remember the first time I realized how much I cared was when he came wandering into my office, his big brown eyes brimming with tears and yet not quite crying, and said to me "I miss my Mommy." His tiny little voice just sorta touched me, and I sat there and rocked him for nearly an hour and just rubbed his back, trying to soothe him. Ever since then, as soon as he sees me he comes running, and as soon as he leaves, he says he wants to go home with me.
His foster mother is good, she takes care of all her Foster kid's needs (there are 5 in all,) materially anyhow. But she provides little in relation to emotional support or bonding. Which is fine, I guess, if the children are to be placed back in thier homes with thier parents... I suppose anyhow...
Today I made the rounds and visited the kids. I was told Robby asked about his Mother today - 3 times in fact. I sit here and try so very hard not to cry, but tears keep welling up in my eyes. Oh, how could a mother do something so terrible to have her own children taken away? Let alone, turn her back and miss out on her visitation rights? He is only 3 years old.
Strange as it may seem, and silly I suppose to you, I have totally fallen head over heels for this little boy. You know how every once in a great great while you meet somebody, and never ever forget them? He is one of those people.
