  Do witness children have to be obediant to their disfellowshipped parent if the parents are separated.

  hi.i am disfellowshipped and separated from my jehovahs witness wife and i am having custody problems with my 13 year old daughter.she has been advised by her mother that she does not have to listen to me and so she dictates to me when she comes to stay.it seems i have lost any fatherly authority and my ex wife has given my daughter the ability to go against my wishes in regards to custody arrangements.having grown up a witness i understand that even though a parent is disfellowshipped the child must still obey the biblical command to be obedient to there parents.it also teaches that the wife must support her ex husband in regards to parenting.i am trying to find any watchtower/awake articles that support this.in any case i would appreciate any links ,information or advice.. regards pat..

  What about the scriptures that say: Honor your father and your mother that all may go well with you? Or the ones that talk about 'Stoning' your child to death if they continue to not obey or call down evil upon their parents.

  Check out the 'Family' titles by the Borg, they all say that the mother enforces the fathers rules, she can't make her own.

  Call your attorney and advise them that your ex is interferring with your custody. Also there is a brochure the Borg uses to help gain custody of children when their are divorces. See if you can locate that. The poster blondie might know what the brochure is called.

  i only mention that because it is relevant in this situation.

  Their was once an article in either the Watchtower or Awake that dealt with step families. It indicated that the step-father was the head of the household and the children must be obedient to him as they would their real father. Try to find that article. It was many years ago. Blondie might have access to it, she seems to have access to everything, even the older stuff.

  so britain is leaving the european union (eu).. the governing body of jehovah's witnesses have over the past year moved the majority of its european activities to the control of watchtower britain and the ibsa primarily because of britain's membership with the eu.. further, the incorporated pseudo-political lobby group, european association of jehovah's christisn witnesses, based in brussels, is administered by watchtower britain and its officers.

  Vidiot-He is a 'lame duck' president because he is in the few months of his last term. He no longer has the power to hold over the heads of the senate or the house, as he will soon be replaced. It is a term used here in the USA to refer to a sitting president in Obama's position. It is not a rude term.

  Are photos allowed as evidence at a JC? Thought they weren't-re: pale.emporer thread.

  i thought that photos weren't allowed as proof of sin to the jc because they can be faked.

  same with audio recordings.. this thread in response to the pale.emporer thread where his sister-in-law snooped on his computer, found his info from here and took pictures of it.

  if the photos and recording are not allowed for a jc, this could be valuable info to anyone else who has a sneaky relative trying to 'out' them with photos or recordings.. anyone have any info on this?.

  Thanks for the info everyone. If the borg headquarters were questioned, they would probably allow it for apostasy JC's, but not other matters.

  Text or email ALL your sister-in-law's relatives and friends and tell them she cannot be trusted to not snoop through their personal belongings. Tell them not to leave their medical info, credit card statements, medications or other personal info any place that isn't physically locked with an actual key.

  Once knew of a couple who had a bookstudy in their home. A person was using their restroom and snooping through their medicine cabinet every time they went. The couple put marbles in their medicine cabinet. The next time the snooper open their cabinet, the sound of marbles falling into the sink could be clearly heard to all attending the study. The couple were in hysterics, and the snooper was caught and never came to their bookstudy again.

  Freeandclear-I get where you are coming from, as I had the same feelings of 'everything is worthless, why are we here', going through my head for quite awhile after waking up. Yet, when you really think about it, according to the WTBTS, the ONLY purpose in life for the 6 or 7 billion people on this planet was to worship god. Why? That purpose is very, very limiting and discounts everything else anyone who ever lived did.

  You can only affect people in the now. They can feel your love in the present...or your neglect. As an active JW, you were never supposed to live in the now, instead giving up your present for some imaginary future.

  Maybe if you try giving more of yourself to others you can feel the satisfaction of now.
