32Can't sleep... Feel so alone!
by Free!! insorry, i am just feeling alone and needed to vent..... i hate the fact that i allow jws to control me for so long and now i have no friends!
i mean, i do have a few, but at moments like this when my head is spinning like a thousand miles per hour, there is noone i can call and trust and talk to.... my friends all have their lives, and the few that i can call, i am afraid to do so... again, i know i said this before, but jw ruined my social skills... .
i want to scream!!!

Anniversary of my mums death....the JW robbed me of time with her and I cant forgive them.
by Pams girl inits been 2 years.
she was lying in intensive care (i didnt know she only had a few days left)...... building up to the bloody convention in cardiff millenium stadium.

Yes , it is good to take things out of your chest ... What a difficult situation you went through!!! But love can take you where hate cant ....... FORGIVE YOURSELF , that was one event and if you were supportive and loving towards your mom during the whole life you should try to balance those emotions and think about all the good memories as well as the moments she needed you and you were there. .... many many hugs for you

Would the world be a better place without any religion?
by ThomasCovenant ini like to think so.. although much good can come from religious belief, i feel that the bad out weighs the good.
and therefore i would rather see it all gone.. if tomorrow, all people with any belief in any religion were removed from earth to meet their maker in the afterlife they so much want, it may be for the best.. how much better atheists would get on would be interesting to see.
shirley atheists couldn't make a worse job than religionists have..

Were there 2 witnesses when you were DFd?
by FatFreek 2005 inof the some 70,000 disfellowshippings each year (some 1% of the membership) most were for sexual misconduct.
of these, i think i'm safe to say that very few were witnessed by a third party.
that means that both participants had to voluntarily confess in order to satisfy their 2-witness rule.. know of any that didn't meet this rule?.

It is funny though ... I know an elder who was also in bethel at that time being in a JC for sexual inmorality , to a 19 year old boy who had sex with his girlfriend .. years later the elder got married and after a year was D'ed for gay activities while in Bethel, of course with another Bethel guy who happenned to be married as well :O Double standards??? By the way, Im new here but i think is wonderful place.

It is happenning worldwide ..... Europe, Latin America, Patterson ... They are closing some Bethels and "reassigning" old ppl in others ... I have friends who has been reassigned to pioneer, others sent home without reason.

Good question... So , you have to confess to be D'ed for sexual conduct.... otherwise i dont see how ppl would know :S
