" Jehovah's Witnesses have the lowest retention rate of any religion. Only 37% of all those who say they were raised as Jehovah's Witnesses still identify themselves as Jehovah's Witnesses."
love these stats from jwfacts /jehovah's witnesess.
"this is one of the most telling graphs, showing that the number of people leaving has tripled from the rate in the early 1990's.
for the 10 years from 1986 to 1995 the rate was an average of 12%; for the 10 years from 1996 to 2005 it had risen to 41%.".

before the mentally diseased apostates could get their hands on and dissect any information regarding the convention that hadn't been released to regular publishers/elders...the society released the district program on the official site completely and utterly slaying every single demented apostate on the face of the earth.
now have fun dissecting it kiddos, while we big kids get a taste of solid, spiritual meet this summer.
continue drowning in misery while god's people go on rejoicing and enduring these last days.
Your leaders protect men who rape children.
is it possible for today's youths to remain in the religion?.
I teach high school band. A super nice 15 year old JW kid (with the social maturity of a 3rd grader) came up to me and said, "MR. _, I can't wait for next school year. Band is the most fun thing I've ever done in my life!" 48 hours later his parents pulled him out of band. 7 out of 8 JW kids have been pulled out of band in the past 2 weeks. These kids love my class. Don't these ridiculous WT rules surely backfire on them and actually drive kids out?
Stupid cult.
a bible truth - "one baptism".
(ephesians 4:5) .
however, according to 'accepted wisdom', there must be two baptisms - one visible, and one invisible.
Wait a minute... the thief was NOT promised paradise earth....
2 Corinthians 12:2-4 (NIV)I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows. 3 And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— 4 was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.
The thief went to heaven, which is paradise, "today". Luke 23:43
You get the Holy Spirit the moment you ask Jesus to take control of your life. Baptism is just an external representation of this event.

this thread is dedicated to the judgemental fat and not so jolly elders and elderettes (non judgemental loving brethren, please disregard!)..
in my county, some of our appointed brothers and sisters are suffering from obesity, eating disorders and heavy drinkings.
what is the best way to approach brothers in charge, who are morbidly overweight, don't care about their physical appearance?
An elder and elderette at our local KH are 300+ a piece! That's 600 pounds of righteous judgement coming your way!
(Working on a joke about "...food at the proper time...")
here is a new site named jw outreach launched by an xjw from another board.. .
http://www.witness-outreach.com/.
bangalore.
Looks great! Good job.
you can cut & paste all the excerpts from articles you want...you can leak all the boe letters, you can pretend to be witnesses and come to the conventions and meetings...but.
no other organization can begin to rival the success and magnitude of the prophecy found in mt 24:14. so apostates....don't waste your time spending countless hours digging up articles and reading books to convince yourself to turn away from jh's organization.
no matter what "evidence" you find you cannot ignore the obvious fulfillment of matthew 24:14.. .
The VAST majority of humans on this planet have no clue what the heck a "Jehovah's Witness" is or what message they bring.
Spreading the message to the whole world? = Epic Fail
growing up and jw and being around them all my life i constantly heard the expression "a relasionship with god".
this always confused me, because how do you have a relasionship with someone that doesn't talk back to you after praying?
this was always rationalized as god talks back to you when you read the bible.
Jesus is quoted as saying "come to me"9 times in the Bible.
The most well-known is Matt 11:28 (NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
I have a very close relationship with God, to get it I just.....(wait for it...) prayed to Jesus to take over my life. He's the one Jehovah appointed for us to "come to". Steven prayed to him. Paul prayed to him. So can I. Once I did that, the Holy Spirit let me know I have a relationship with God. Just a feeling.... a great one.
(Alright Angry Atheists, please don't cut me to ribbons.)
If you're asking SPIRITUALLY what will happen to you...nothing. Most everything the WT says about churches is a lie.
If you're asking what stupid man-made rules & punishments you'll endure at the hands of the WTS...the previous posts outline it.
Congratulations by the way!
