The first time I visited the British Museum we were still allowed to wear ordinary clothes, the second time orders came from on high to wear a suit and tie, I just wore the tie with normal trousers and a shirt.
The last time I visited was when my ex was over from Italy and we spent two days there. It's a far more interesting experience when you study a little bit about the exhibits beforehand.
It's far better too without the blinkered, narrow viewpoint of the WT Society guiding you. -

Flunkett Blunkett ... resigns - and about bloody time!
by Simon int'was obvious that he had abused his position and was lying about it.
never trust anyone who constantly tells you how honest they are - especially if they are a politician.. .
kind of ironic that this duffus who wants to tresspass into everyone elses private affairs with identity cards and the like is caught out by a privacy scandal.. .

Considering he is such a control freak it's ironic that he couldn't control his tadger.

Aaargh !!! Some judges should be shot !!
by Simon ina judge has just overturned the paltry compensation that a yob had been ordered to pay to the seven year old child that he paralysed while speeding in a car without insurance or a license.
he was only paying 3 a week and claimed "he couldn't afford it" !!!
(yeah, right .

Just take a nose through most papers and you will see case after case where
a motorist has killed a cyclist or pedestrian and recieved only a paltry fine.
I recall a well known local cyclist going under the wheels of a lorry as the
driver was playing with a mobile phone.
Life is worthless apparently. -

I have a Pentium 166 overclocked at 200 as my Gateway\Router pc, I also use it to burn the odd cd and
browse the www if there is a problem with my main pc.
Beside my bed is my 'craptop', an ex Cisco Macintosh Powerbook 520, greyscale display, 30mb and 25mhz
of raw processing power. :) I use it for reading ebooks and chatting on IRC from the comfort of bed.
In fact. I have just bought a pcmcia adapter (one that goes into a battery slot) from Ebay and
I am looking for an el-cheapo 802.11b wireless card so I can wander round the house with it.
It's pretty cool using such an ancient computer. -

Weird DREAMS ...
by frenchbabyface in.... weird dreams.
i'm afraid to think that some particular dreams have a meaning, it's like my intuition talking to me.
i do not always understand their meaning from the start, but later it happen that i can see exactly what they meant (one lately was quiet interesting to realised about the why's and the what exactly).

I always have really vivid dreams but I've never looked for meaning in them.
After I split up with my last girlfriend I dreamt that she was going away for some
reason and I was crying asking her not to leave me, I woke up and my face pillow was
soaked with my tears. That dream was self explanatory.I have a dream lover who I dream of from time to time. I remember one time I was at work
and I had that love 'glow', I was feeling really good. About 11 am I said to myself
"I can't wait to see my girlfriend tonight", only to then realise that it was just
a dream and the feelings I was experiencing were just a carry over from that dream.I was really disappointed.
I do have some horrible dreams every now and then but these I realise relate back
from childhood traumas or something I have seen or heard recently.
On the whole I love my dreams, cheaper than a ticket for the cinema and
if I don't like the ending of a dream I have had the same dream a while later
and changed it. -

What's Your Prechristian Culture
by Satanus inas christianity/catholicism pushed its way across europe, it bulldosed over various and many cultures.
this included indigenous and other religions of the various tribes over europe.
have you looked into what yours was before the christian wave?

As we all originated via migrations from Northern Africa at some point or another I'd guess we were all
the religion, if you could call it that, being practiced at that time. Organised religion is something that came along with organised city\states. -

It's not but it's a handy tool for the few who want to control the many.
