maybe i've read too many robert ludlum novels, and i can see a conspiracy in just about anything.
in my congregation the elders were very rigid about the most stupid things.

if Tom is still a ms, it sounds like he hasn't made progress in the congregation either. As to whether any needed to report my "apostate" status, they hold nothing over me. I don't know how they could sway any lawsuits, the law is the law.

I'm leaving this forum
by proplog2 ini've left before but this time i'm through.. i don't have anything against simon.
i think he runs one of the best boards of this sort.
i guess i'm just bored with talking about jw's.. i'm cured.. .

I agree with Sheila, I like it here because of the people. I mostly post fluff. I don't feel it is a cured or not cured issue for me. It is nice to know others who have a common background that allows them to relate to how we are sometimes feeling. I had some time off from here recenyly because I have been busy helping the new owners of a company I am with. It took a lot to get it set up. We are also doing some remodeling in our home.
Proplog2, it felt good to get some things accomplished outside of the cyberworld, and sometimes it is what we need. I hope you just consider some time off and come back if that is what you need. Sometimes others dont even realize we have taken a hiatus but dont let that get to you if it is part of the reason for moving on. As people we have a need to belong, and you do belong if you want to be here.
Whatever you chose, I wish you the best.
