All this is doing is fueling the "great tribulation" mentality!! Im hoping that all this is the tipping point for those on the edge. I doubt there will be a mass exodus leaving the borg...

The last of my Jdub friends asked me to go to the meeting on sunday because they built a new hall or some sh&% like that. I dont really care about all my old friends who have distanced themselves from me but them i do care about. I agreed but now im totally regreting it!! I want to flake but they said theyd take me out to eat after..haha!
3 questions
1. Free meal=torture?
2. what is the WT study about, because if its anything like last weeks I might storm out thus truly exposing my disgust of the borg?
3. Should I just flake and, if i do, do I explain once and for all the ture reasons for why im not going, thus solidifying my mental disease, or just get a surprise cold?

Today's Watchtower Lesson Really Bothered Me...
by dontplaceliterature ini was a hair away from telling my wife i never wanted to go to the kingdom hall again after today's watchtower.
the conductor mentioned something along the lines of..."if you think having to shun your disfellowshipped children is bad...you should read up on the israelites.
when one of their children was disobedient to the law, they had to take the before the judges so that they could be stoned to death...and guess who's job it was throw the first stone?".

The "organization" is exactly that an organization, a corporation. Cheating on it is like cheating on Mcdonalds for going to burger king! He is actually doing what he is supposed to do: investigate, test the so called "inspired" expressions. He is suspecting that his "bride" is a lying, abusive and disloyal "bride". Would you not investigate a spouse who is obviously doing untrustworthy things?? If all these accusations were true would you not considers ending this "relationship". He is not cheating on God, on the contrary, he is actually defending his honor. This "organization" is proving to be false and you both know it. We all know it!! At some point seperation must be considered. Just like a worthless spouse, if you stay, like George Lopez says, "why you crying?"

Blondie's Comments You Will Not Hear at the 09-25-2011 WT Study (ENTER REST)
by blondie inhowever, love for god and for his.
our love for god and his dear son = is of no value unless we are part of the human/earthly organization, the wts.
how many scriptures are actually read and applied at a meeting?

For every elder that actually cares and tries hard to give biblical counsel you have 10 or more that spew off wt pub or even worse: interpretations of wt pub that try to interpret the bible. An interpretation within an interpretation =

I know soon my family will have to choose when i turn in my letter....in the end it will be their loss and thats how we all have to see it...Mnay of us never really chose to be in this cult....now with the info that is readily available and with many leaving for reasons of conscience there is really a choice now. It is sad how quickly they give me the hand when i try to explain why im leaving and thats because they ask me "why dont you go anymore?"

Disfellowshipping is the only thing that keeps thousands from fleeing this cult...they know this. To give it up would be corporate suicide! Just think how many ones who post here but still go would leave once and for all if they stopped this practice! Fear is what binds this religion together. Jesus clearly said love would identify his followers. Fear Jehovah, Fear the world, Fear armageddon, fear losing the relationship of your loved ones. True christian= love, Jehovahs witnesses=fear

This article is truly absurd and repulsive!! When will the sheeple wake up?!? It goes against our inate morals and instinctual love!! I feel so horrible for having followed, even in the half ass scale way i did, this horrible dogmatic teaching! How can they ridicule all the other religions for their "weird" "unscriptural" teachings and allow this antichristianic mandate to exist?!?

by Anony Mous inhi, long time no see.
i am finally out of the borg.

Excellent job with the talk anony mous!! Hopefully some caught it and actually thought about it. I remember injecting some "provacative" biblical views into my talks. If there is anything I miss its being able to piss off some people with talks!haha
