I think this is real, a boardgame for JW's- House 2 House
by OnTheWayOut inyou can find it at theocraticgames.com http://www.theocraticgames.com/.
it sounds totally bizarre.. it even has a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/house-2-house-theocratic-board-game/120807941289256.

Lame. It says ages 13+ to play the game. But it's certainly acceptable to use a 2 year old to make googly eyes at a stranger to place a magazine.

Personally, this board has definitely been a source of support. Because many of my close friends were never JW's...and some are faders but too scared to really share how they feel (from fear of being labeled an apostate.)
That being it said, it's nice to be around empathetic and educated people. Most of you are insightful, smart and have a great sense of humor...which is the best mix . I am fairly new and at times stop visiting, because I feel disgusted thinking about my former life as a JW. But, it is unavoidable as my family is still deeply involved.
I would, however, like to make some real (close) friends here eventually. But I find it hard because I'm still new and somewhat shy. Perhaps I need to throw a huge apostafest. hah.
Either way, this board is a great resource even if it is not approved by Jehovee himself.

Hello - new
by freshstart inhi, just wanted to introduce myself.
born-in, as was my husband.
we were both baptized as teens, married when we were teens (he was early 20s) and we were both the "perfect" witnesses.

Is this an anti-JW website?
by keyser soze inwhen i registered here over 4 years ago i thought it would be a good place to interact with like-minded christians who loved jehovah as much as i do.
but after reading some of the posts on here i'm beginning to believe that the sentiment on here is largely anti-witness.
i justed wanted to tell you all what vile and hateful people you are..

Are you sure leaving the JW religion has made your life better?. Lurkers think twice
by mankkeli inon this forum, i have carefully read most of the experiences of those who left the jw religion, i have even read experiences that have dated back to 2001, i have read the different circumstances surrounding their exits and what ensued upon leaving.
for the majority, i observed they are better remainning in the religion than leaving.
what benefit is there to strain family relationship because you want to be free?, please tell me, of what value is that freedom?,.

Mankelli I will tell you what... if your saga of posts are a success and you can change my mind about staying out of the Borg. I will let you take me in. Coddle me. I will go live with your family. You can personally start rebuilding me again.
You can re-review all the doctrines with me, since I am inactive (DA'd) you can give me bible study and count the time. You can help me pay for some of my general bills, since I will have to work part time from now on to dedicate myself fully toward the ministry. It's worth it. You want me to live my fullest, right?
Also! You can be used as an exemplary Christian brother. We can tell them all how your love of Jehovah's sacred and pure organization gave you the strenght to reach out in the ministry. You went out of your way, to post on an apostate website to show your zeal. You were able to correct the blindness of a lost sheep and bring her back to happiness.
Imagine the applause you'd receive at a District Assembly when you recount this experience from the stage.

Secret Santa 2011
by nugget inlast year i coordinated secret santa for jwn and am happy to do so again.
however i would like to get organised sooner rather than later since international postage means that santas need to be allocated by the end of november to ensure that presents can be despatched in good time for christmas.
if you wish to participate please let me know and indicate whether you are happy to post internationally or whether you would prefer someone in the same country.
