Does anybody know who is "Brother" James Long from the Watchtower? Here is what happened: Because, in the first place, I had no e-mail addresses from the WT, I sent a lot of messages through the main hidden electronic contact of the main page of the WT. After some annoying messages such as "HYPOCRITES", surprisingly, Someone answered back signed by James Long, calling himself "Human Rights Attorney". Since I am a lawyer myself, we start arguing about the interpretation of the requisites to become an NGO and the real legal consequences for the Watchtower’s political and social status. When he lost his temper and the ability to recognize the true facts, here is what he wrote me yesterday:
"It is interesting that a jurist and a lawyer such as yourself would not understand how to respond to the specific points that I explained in my email. Where are you licensed to practice law?
My comment was made in direct connection to the substance of your
previous email. You termed yourself a "lawyer and a jurist". Having
spent a significant portion of my lifetime communicating in oral and
written form with various legal professionals, I have reason, based upon experience, to find that your style of communication does not usually emanate from a legal professional. This is especially true given your most recent email. A true legal professional gets asked this question as a normal part of his or her professional life. Your reaction clearly indicates that such is not a normal question for you. I appreciate your attempts to collect information that is freely available on the web and send it to me, but I am well aware of it and find no need to respond to you concerning this matter any further. My time is better spent helping those that I am currently engaged with.

I have posted a message on the United Nations Online Public Discussion Area ( http://www.unol.org//caucus.shtml) about the "Watchtower and the NGO Scandal" and I was severely warned by the Stephen Tapril/Deputy Secretary-General of UNOL that it could not be discussed there. They gave no explanation at all why I could not expose my opinion about this incident. I sent further messages but they kept removing my posts and warned me to take further action if I continue to post anything about this subject.

by hawkaw inas of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.
and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .
after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

The argument of Mr. Pedro Candeias is an insult to the intelligence of the readers and of the JWs (if they have any!). I know this man personally for many years and I could not imagine such kind of hypocrisy coming from this person. As Lawyer, I know the Chart of the UN and its principles and requisites to be met to be admitted in the NGOs official list. But is it not necessary to be a jurist to understand such regulations. Any common person can read it and be aware of the consequences to be part of the NGOs. I can understand the "mingle-mangle" state of mind of the members of the bethelhome in Carnaxide, Portugal. Such a mess and misgovernment when you take the Devil's side!
Shame on those who have not the gut to defend the truth!
