the first one, i'm eager to study the bible, and the second one, i'm eager to look for friends who will help me learn english.
and i'd like to combine the pleasant thing with the useful one and to find an english speaking friend who will agree to chat to me via e-mail and icq about god and life, and moreover correct my mistakes in english.

Now that we know people do, there is real hope!
Jehovah can't be taught, but must be realized, like a revelation.
The society tends the other way in that they say they are the only way

The Bible warns "be cautious as serpents" Matthew 10:16. When people do that sometimes they are viewed unfriendly. They are not unfriendly, just careful of the difficult time we live. (2 Timothy 3:1-13)

Greetings katedreamhealer12! It is nice to read your introduction. I know of persons who have studied the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses so that they might learn Engish. Your name is kate...meaning you are female? Not that it matters too much because in Jesus to whom the Bible directs us (I believe) all are one. Galatians 3:28.
You post is well written, your understanding of English looks perfect.
Just so you know, most who post here are they who are not in good standing with the organization of Jehovah"s Witnesss. But many who post here (looks like to me) are in good standing with Almighty God. Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6 and Matthew 11:29), at first you might find they are not a peaceful group of people here, I think it's called initiation, or weeding. Weeding is good! So if someone comes here with the idea Weed Me! I believe she will do very well.

After a life in the Jehovah's witness all you can say is you existed
by Star tiger inafter reading many of your stories dear friends, all i can say is after so many jehovahs witness living all their lives in false teachings, put about by eight old sad men bent on control of the world, i'm glad so many of us have shaken free from the evil lies, it makes you realise just how far power corrupts, i hope the faithful and descret slave gets what they want, in that the world turns their attention to them and are dissolved, such a shame so may had to die for their false reasoning!.
i'm so looking forward to 2014, after 100 years of false promises when they lose droves of people that in the end will end up on this forum and we can chat to them peacefully with respect and welcome them in a non judgemental way and talk about normal things and they will know that the apostates had it right all along!

Some people just can't know if their life would be better if they were never a Jehovah's Witness. Whenever the subject came up in field service most people who had an opinion to voice it would say they would be dead if not for their dedication and baptism. But nobody really knows. And nobody knows if as many persons got mad and bad because they were treated badly by hypocritical Jehovah's Witnesses.
The doctrine of JW to not have children might have slightly affected population over a hundred years.
Someone (not me!) might say war is good for population control. I would rather see overpopulation be the catalyst for the nations finally getting along for a peaceful solution. I am much more optimistic than you dear moshe, as the world with the brains and the science and some heart thrown in can fix it. We can fix it. God won't do it by magic, but we can learn how and can do it. I'm a believa!

A little J.W. sabotage at the health Clinic.
by outlander intook the wife in today for her regular every 3 month checkup.
what do i see but 3 awake magazines layed neatly.
in a group amongst the usual pile of better homes and gardens, ect, put out for those waiting for their appointments.
