someone on this board asked me 'how do you know' a while ago and i really struggled with it.
in fact, it was a turning point for me.
Most of us have been believers - so we have found what you have found.
I disagree.
I have found that God is my Father. I have complete trust that God can not die. Once a Father, always a Father. So it is my opinion that you have NOT found what I have found.
It is just that atheists are prepared to lose what they had found and gone on to find other things
I think a spiritual father can not be lost.
i have been on this site daily, almost from its beginning, since i left the jws in 2001, but i have been more of a reader than a poster, as you can see from my post count.
i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.
maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.
My heart goes out to you with tears too. If you look for healing I believe you will find it. May all your memories of your son help you heal and not hurt.

I have read nothing on JWN that confirms belief in the wrongness of atheism. You are drawing conclusions snare. It is logic that you argue. If believers insist on believing in God, they therefore are insisting they are right and you are wrong. Isn't that simplifying it unfairly?
Let's please just say that we have found something that you have not found.
I do not believe that it is wrong that you have not found what I have found.

The funny thing is you keep saying read, read, read. But you did not discover and publish what you ask us to read. You heard it from somebody else. We also have heard from somebody else the things about The Christ. OK?

You can easily dismiss any idea that doesn't appeal to YOU and feel justified about doing that.

No, you did not quote the Bible. But it is the Bible that tells us "in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth". So my anwer to your energy question comes from knowing the Bible.

still thinking, I might be able to believe that evolution alone made and developed everything if I ever heard that the universe is many millions of billions of years old and if it was proved that energy can magically appear from nothing. But so far I am not able to believe it and I think I will be dead before I have enough proof that a house can build itself. Oh, with a microwave and a TV. Haha!

It is my understanding that convience makes life easier.
My believing in The Holy One hardly makes my life easier.
