since leaving the organization 8 years ago, there have been more significant changes in the actual, physical activities of the organization than occurred in all the 40 plus years i was 'in'.

The Jehovah's Witnesses will all say Jehovah is for the organization, not egual to. But the literature implies they are equal.

so there i was at the circuit assembly sunday morning with my eyes glazed over as usual when all of a sudden, bam!

the reason it took me by surprise was because it occured during the second talk of the sunday morning symposium, "sanctify god's name by your speech".

Peace Barbara! It's not only JWs who are speaking out for the Watchtower. It's friends of JWs who do. They don't even know what JWs teach, but JWS are good friends and such fine people that the opposers (us) of evil doctrine are viewed in a very bad light by "good" people everywhere. I provided a link to http://www.christianwitnesses.com/ this news sight by a former brother on facebook and got pummeled by a friend of a JW "friend". She called herself Christian and had nothing good to say, only that I am spreading lies, and don't I have anything better to do?

Funny story: I burned a lot of WTBTS literature. I don't have many left. We have a big metal drum. And, golly, it's hard to start a fire when you try. Maybe there were too many unplaced magazines in the bunch. It's not rude, if it's true. The fire wouldn't stay lit. We have some gasoline for the lawn mower. So I threw some on them. It still wouldn't burn, fire proof I quess. I don't remember how many times I doused it, then I got impatient. I remember the last time I doused it. It made a fire bridge. And I ruined the gas holder. I had to buy a new one. My husband wasn't home. I did not set everything on fire, just a little bit of wood in the wood pile and the tank. When I replaced it the sales man said something true, like parents know how to use gasoline. Right! Now I do.
