Hold on a second. You said:

And then you told me that you don't know enough about the GB to decide if they are a "composite charismatic leader".

Seems slightly dishonest to now say they are not a cult, without knowing enough about their leadership to even tell if they meet a criterion you set on cults... Jus' sayin'.

If you don't know enough about the leaders of the religion to comment upon them - Perhaps you are in no place to judge if the religion is a cult or not.
(and this thread becomes pointless. Go research the GB.)

Bro, I'm not trying to be funny... But all you are doing is repeating the claim that there is a "true" interpretation (now of the religion, not bible), and they don't have it.
To make that statement you would have to have it yourself.
Do you?

And for the third time: Do you not consider the GB to be a composite charismatic leader?
I do - which sort of answers the question in regards to being a cult - for me.

Quoting something Jebus said does not demonstrate that your understanding or "interpretation" is the "true" one. The argument as to the bible's "True meaning" is hardly over, hence sects and denominations...

And as I asked before (the formatting is odd on that page, perhaps you missed it), do you not consider the GB to be a composite charismatic leader?

But I am still of the opinion that a person would actually bring this on themselves down to false interpretation of the religion they follow.
Can you please explain the true interpretation? You could clear up a great deal of fuss, all over the globe, if you know.

There are no "False" interpretations unless you have reason to believe there is a set objective message to that bibliography of conflicting religious texts?
Can you elaborate the "True" interpretation? If not you can't call others' interpretations "False".

even with the new rebranding/softening of this religion, i still don't see how people can believe in him.

I'll take the correction about terms used by your biology lecturer.

It wouldn't make any difference to what I was actually saying, just how I said it.
But, I shall be more specific in future and avoid "apparent purpose", when speaking of teleonomy... Perhaps I'll get a little Dawkins and use neo-purpose in future, the point would remain the same.
