hey everyone i wanted to post my new book for all ex-jehovah witnesses to look at and read.
my book is about my experiences growing up in a abusive and violent home as a jehovah witness.
the organization changed my life and my mom life and how she views our relationship.

today is my youngest son's birthday.
he turns seven and he's requested that we take him to mcdonald's, which is a relief because he had asked to be taken to chucky cheese's.
we're waiting for it to get a little cooler outside because joshua loves to play in the playground at micky d's.

hi all, ive not posted for a while ,but my mother told me that recently she saw my non practising ex elder fatherin law who still believes in "the truth" im married to his disfellowshipped son and we have a lovely little girl who they have not seen for 18 months despite living just a half hour drive away, anyway my mother told him that i had said him and his die hard jw wife would be most welcome to come and see us and the grandaughter they claim to be heartbroken about not seeing anymore since we left town and to just give us a ring first !
he replied " well that will be a bit difficult because they dont live anywhere near where we visit !
" my mother was too stunned to reply !
a lovely little girl who says "i cant remember what grandad and grandmas faces look like " why dont they come to see me ?
give it a bit longer and she'll probably forget they exist, its so much easier if they butt out totally when kids are young enough to forget.

every time i hear the following song by elton john, i have to pull over and shed a tear or two or twenty and think of all the other people like me who lost a brother whose name was daniel.... my brother daniel would have turned 40 today august 6 (southern hemisphere time).. i sadly lost daniel when i was 5 and he was 4 .... i still have vivid memories and photographs, yet sadly due to the religion that is called the jehovahs witnesses have not yet fully grieved or coped with my younger brothers death in a road accident.
i have never spoken to anyone outside my family about daniels death as i was raised up with the view that as a young person i would witness any day now the resurrection of my dear little brother.
not a week goes by when i do not visit his gravesite at fawkner cemetary looking for closure or the fact that i may never see him in the new system.

my reply was.....if you had faith in your beliefs you'd know youre going to have your memory wiped, so there'll be no explaining to do.
