Anyone have some to share?
I'll start:
When I was there the worst I heard was a thief going around stealing the $90 out of some other bethelite's lockers the day we all got "paid". Also rumors of homosexuality after some were dismissed.

ever since the annual meeting last october and the letter to bodies of elders stating that "exceptional young men perhaps in their early 20's could qualify for appointment as elders.." it even states this in the updated elders manual!
have any of you pimo's, pimq's, or those on here with family/friends still in hear of any young men being appointed as elders yet?
i am talking 21, 22, 23, 24 etc.
Can you imagine a 20 year old lording it over his grandmother?

I guess it would depend on what area of the world you are in but early 20's elders have not been a thing since the 40's-60'sish here in the US. So there is definitely a push for it now more than ever. From what a friend of mine told me, many of the current older elders are still hesitant about it but CO's seem to pushing for training of younger ones. The GB wants this to happen.

I would like to think that the older in age elders on that body with a "kid elder" wont send him off to offer advice and counsel to older, mature people but you just never know.
Most elders are in no way qualified as therapists or conselors anyway, so throw a kid into that situation and they are just asking for trouble. This could really backfire on jw.org, curious to see what happens as these children start getting appointed to "Shepherd the Flock of God" lol
can watchtower really continue with cart preaching?
it has become like zoom.
we're people attending zoom not wanting attend halls.
They need to for the time being. Nobody wants to do anything else. People have few return visits, territory..yeah right! This is super easy and people can just sit there and gossip and do nothing.

i thought this was an interesting response to the question.
"being faithful and loyal to god implies or includes.
being faithful to your spouse (hebrews 13:4),.
Yes
i saw this post on ex-jw reddit so i thought i'd bring here.
zoom service, what are your observations/opinions of it?.
but if they do something in the community which actually helps people; volunteer in a soup kitchen, help orphans or widows with life tasks, etc. they can't count the time and are even discouraged from any such activity.
So true...
betty georges is listed as a helper to the governing body service committee, according to this page on the website: https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/governing-body-jw-helpers/.
anybody know anything about her?.
Has to be a male. No way they are listing a sister as a helper even though I know that they use women for proof-reading, researhing, and opening mail to decide which dept/committee it gets routed to. Among other things I am sure of. They know as well as the rest of the world that women are as capable or in many cases more so than men at doing things. They will NEVER acknowledge this in such a public way such as a list on the internet though.

Some of the redditers mentioned that its basically a group of JWs sitting around "writing letters" or making phone calls and gossiping.
Having done this very recently as I am a PIMO that seems to really be the case. JWism is pretty pathetic at this point, a shell of its former self.
