co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.
I think he meant, there are 2600 people in the "16+ congregations", but actual attendance for the convention where those 16+ were assigned varied between 1400-1900

CO told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned. Well Friday he said the attendance was 1,400 Saturday was 1,700 and Sunday maxed at around 1,900. He was coming up with excuses of course... some are still weary of large gatherings of people, some are "breaking it up" maybe spreading it out over several weekends.

i can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.

maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.
I can 100% confirm that there has been no letter to the Elders in the U.S. that states to discourage zoom. They are using the CO's tell "encourage" In-Person mtg and ministry.

There is no letter to the elders at least here in the U.S. instructing them to discourage zoom.
its likely in the outline or a letter to CO's only. They want this to be verbal instructions for now at least.

BOEs in a letter from the WTS said that BOEs have to submit a request to the CO to continue using Zoom, and he will be deciding whether or not to continue.

even though i鈥檓 agnostic so will not commit to either intelligent design or chance, i love being part of the congregation for the close personal relationships.. there is such a great atmosphere inside the congregation it really is like a family and you don鈥檛 get this anywhere else.. a real friend is someone you can rely on when you are in need.
if things go wrong for you and you are going through a hard time you know real friends will be there for you.
as long as you didn鈥檛 bring it on yourself by going against gods law then you have to prove you are repentant first of course.. there is a lot of research now saying that good friends is essential for healthy and happiness.

I get what you are saying. I have been a PIMO for well over 10 years now and I stay in for my family. The times I have/do spend with SOME in the congregation are enjoyable as you describe. That being said, if any of them ever found out that I am PIMO not only would they shun me but my PIMI family as well. They will cut you off at the drop of a hat so to me that is not the definition of a real friendship or of the "christ-like love" that they claim to have for each other. If you still believe in that. Its a finely constructed fantasy born out of a cult.
So I do not think those fake friendships are good for your health, not in the least.
