The majority of the bethelites are on medicaid from what I heard. JW.org no longer foots the bill for most of their medical needs. Additionally, since TM3 is a veteran he also has VA benefits I am sure.

Regional Convention Attendance
by XBEHERE inelder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

Also the math was wierd for me as well 2600/ 16 is a lot of publishers but my buddy said that many congregations near "the temple" in Warwick are bursting at the seams 120-180 publishers due to move in's to work on the constantly being delayed Ramapo project. They are also dissolving and merging left and right near the northeast but keeping in relatively on the down low.

I think he meant, there are 2600 people in the "16+ congregations", but actual attendance for the convention where those 16+ were assigned varied between 1400-1900
Correct, I apologize for the bad writing. Also the stream link is pre-recorded and has to be obtained from an elder. It is not public as it was during COVID. I got it from our Group Overseer due to my wife's chronic condition.

Elder friend of mine texted me asking what my RC attendance was 2 weeks ago (Family and I streamed it since wife is not well). He told me that his RC in the Jersey City Assembly Hall last weekend was low.
CO told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned. Well Friday he said the attendance was 1,400 Saturday was 1,700 and Sunday maxed at around 1,900. He was coming up with excuses of course... some are still weary of large gatherings of people, some are "breaking it up" maybe spreading it out over several weekends.

Confirmed: CO Discourages Zoom
by XBEHERE ini can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.
maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.

I can 100% confirm that there has been no letter to the Elders in the U.S. that states to discourage zoom. They are using the CO's tell "encourage" In-Person mtg and ministry.

There is no letter to the elders at least here in the U.S. instructing them to discourage zoom.

BOEs in a letter from the WTS said that BOEs have to submit a request to the CO to continue using Zoom, and he will be deciding whether or not to continue.
