Just to say, make sure you put a post; they probably won't appear until tomorrow, as they will be queued up until then. Lets hope they post some up that are less Watchtower apologist.

WOW, that was a good programme, and will hopefully stir up a hornet's nest as all the victims of abuse come out of the closet, and make it public! It would have been nice to have had a little bit more on the Watchtower's doctrines and background, but it was still an excellent programme, and will make the public here especially more aware of what Jehovah's Witnesses, and the Watchtower represent.

More doctrine subtle changes in new book.

Some other interesting missing bits I have noticed are:
Page 28 (of the old book), this question is missing in the new book, along with the rest of section 4, and the whole of section 5:
" Does counsel on conduct written to anointed Christians apply to persons who have hope of eternal life on earth ?" (Page 28, old book)
I found this also by accident on page 180 (in the old book), has been altered in the new book (page 179) The bits in bold blue have been deleted!
8 After World War I there was, indeed, a great separating of all persons who claimed to be Christians into two classes: (1) The clergy of Christendom and their followers, who came out in strong support of the League of Nations (now the United Nations), while still holding fast to their nationalism. (2) The relatively few true anointed Christians of that postwar era, who gave their full support to God's Messianic Kingdom. By open support of governments of the world as the means for achieving peace and security, the first class made it plain that they were not true Christians. (John 17:16) In contrast, Jehovah's servants correctly identified the League of Nations as the modern-day "disgusting thing that causes desolation," referred to in Matthew 24:15. Showing themselves to be true "sons of [God's] kingdom," they undertook the preaching of "this good news of the kingdom . . . in all the inhabited earth." (Matt. 24:14) With what results?
Note the missing " few anointed ", and " United Nations " support comments!
I'm sure there are many more changes; maybe others have found some more changes?

If you click on the "have your say" bit now, you will see last week's posters in regard to the Bin Laden programme, so you can get an idea of what kind of posts they will allow to go live. All I would say is don't make it too long, or use any swearing; make it to the point, and clear.
I also like the bit where they say: "You can ask our panel about the organisation, its policies and how child abuse should be dealt with in a live forum on Monday 15 July at 14:00 BST, to be shown on this page and on Digital Satellite television ." (I wonder how much of Europe can get the BBC on Sky? And also, who is on this "panel"?)

Why do Americans insist on misnaming our game? We [the English] invented Football, we named it Football, and then the Americans bastardised it, and now misname it soccer. I don't know anyone who calls it soccer here in Britain or Europe. Why don't you simply call it English Football, to make a distinction from your own game? We call your game American football, not American rugby/handball, or shy mans rugby.
Please reform your American labels and call OUR game by its given name, English Football.

you know how it goes, someone doesn't want to give offense or get "offside" with readers, colleagues etc so they try and agree with two conflicting arguments simultaneously.
