I don't have a single mp3 because when the retreat center recorded the talk, they broke it up into tracks of about a minute each. If you want to pm me an address, I'd be glad to send you a CD (or a DVD if you prefer)

"Joe's a really nice guy and you should keep playing basketball with him if he'll still come over after you discontinue the study. But under NO circumstances should you join that cult! Oh, and that girl you're going to date next year when you're a senior? MARRY HER!"

fruit of the loom
by John Doe ini remember as a child, before i knew what a "loom" was, i thought it must have been a groin, and therefore the fruit of the loom was dangly bits.

I'm perfect you're doomed: Tales from a Jehovah's witness upbringing
by superman inme and my wife just got this great book from the library entitled 'i'm perfect you're doomed:tales from a jehovah's witness upbringing' writtin by kyria abrahams (an ex-jw).
i'm not sure if anyone else has mentioned or read it (it's still fairly new), but it is a great book.
for anyone who was raised in the 'troof' or group up in it you will find it very interesting.

I see that they have also saved the cost of the brackets they used to have around the word "other" several times in Colossians 1.

I think the thing to look into is their accreditation. Who accredits them? It needs to be one of the major accreditation boards, not "Joe's Appliance Repair and Accreditation Board" or something like that. If they are fully accredited, there is a good likelihood that their education is of high quality and that the credits you earn there will transfer for a higher degree. Even if you don't plan to seek a higher degree, it is a good idea to make sure your credits are transferable because 1) it shows that you have received a quality education that will speak well of you to prospective employers and 2) you might change your mind about an advanced degree later on.

Is Identification Mandatory?
by cameo-d inguess bob dylan didn't think so.. apparently, he was "caught" strolling in the city and curious cops wanted to know why he was walking around.. cops then escorted him to his hotel where he had friends who vouched for him.. http://www.abcnews.go.com/us/wirestory?id=8332031.
so my question is....is it illegal to walk on the street without identification?.
if you are without id what are the usual consequences?.

As a side not, I saw Dylan in concert last year...and after that performance I would have arrested him for grand theft!!
Interesting, I saw him in concert last month and thought it was one of the better performances I've seen him give. It was probably my 15th or 16th Dylan concert. He did something on one song that I don't recall seeing before: took center stage with no guitar or keyboard and just sang (and played harmonica in the appropriate parts) with the band backing him. It was very impressive to see. The song was "Forgetful Heart," a number from his new album that came out this past spring.
I wonder if this will spur a new album of social commentary?
The word on the Internet these days is that he is working on a Christmas album.
