an arguement i've encountered recently is: god tells us right from wrong.
if you don't have a reason to do right instead of wrong then no one will have any morals.. i disagree with this entirely of course.
what kind of morality is it when you are only doing what is right out of fear of being punished for doing what is wrong?.
I guess most people do need spirituality of some kind, (whatever gives them kick I guess) but not religion, religion is simply a business that is trying to cash in on people's need for spirituality.
And if one is to listen to bible, was it written somewhere that " when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves"

i coincidentally have been listening to a lot of their tracks lately, and started noticing that i identified with a lot of them.

overwhelmed by the abundance of information, images, music, movies and merchandise available online, i was thinking back to my first discovering a brahms' symphony on vinyl, played on a raspy second-hand phonograph; a prized book on a dusty corner shelf at the neighborhood bookstore; the perfect shirt in a thrift store.. how about you?.

I do, the only thing that changed is the method. Mind you I still go to libraries and old book stores as always. But ever since I've learned how to find quality info on Internet rather than reading every random garbage I never really looked back. There is really no comparison in being able to find what you need when you need it.
BUT, and its a big but (with one T), if I want to enjoy something and just take my time and relax then its always a book. In that regard internet/computers will never replace old fashioned way, not for me.
