the purpose of generation explanation
by poopie inok here is my 2 cents they are getting complaints concerning the drum beat that goes we are in the last hour of last min bla bla bla and people are tired and want system to end so if the system is ended sooon then why are there new partakers assuming that most have the actually calling.
so now we have a problem how do we fix it?
simple just say those new annointed are not part of this generation so now if we appoint younger guys to gb not to worry there not a part of this generation.

maybe it sort of legitimizes the younger governing body members as they are part of the 2nd overlaping group. -

marriage is not something I like to dwell on however i dont think we can really ever know what possesses a person to marry. my own marriage was based on a misunderstanding. -

i took humanmetrics.com test again. once last night and once today. a total of three times.
first was INTP second INFP and third INTP.
reading the personality types on the 16personalities.com I'm both and neither. I really can't decide. (I also got ISFP on the first test when i first took)
Maybe don't count me till I get some personality.

I thought I was INFP but i just read some about the INTP. and there are things that I do, using conversations as a sounding board, knowing my work is second best to what i could do and therefore producing nothing. Sounds about right. -

True believers never save their money
by stillin init's an article of faith.
either god is going to save them or he is not.
since one local elder proudly told me that he never saved a nickel until just before his retirement, i've given this subject some thought.. savers are worldly..

True believers never save their money
I think it can depend on how you define 'true believers'. I think my father was a true believer as a JW.
He served as an elder and raised his family in the truth etc. However he did save money. He was frugal. He also was not a person to do overtime at work unless he felt he had to help out. He gave up employment on two occasions because it conflicted with the meeting times. He also turned down a good job opportunity as it meant travelling and he felt he needed to be their for the family particularly for there spiritual well being. He also downsized. Took less so he could devote more time to the ministry.
Since one local elder proudly told me that he never saved a nickel until just before his retirement,
I maybe wrong but I think the anointed JW got their commission in 1919 and in 1920 were preaching millions now living will never die.
My parents believed that they would never grow old and die based on the teaching that the generation that saw the events of 1914 would not pass away before the end came although they accepted the truth in the late 50's. i understand.
and so he wasnt tooo concerned about his pension and didn't have a pension, as it would have shown a lack of faith. (he died in his 80's)
So. True believers never save their money i don't think i would agree with this statement.

The Paranormal
by Peony ini'm interested to know if anyone has been to see a medium/clairvoyant since leaving jw's.
i must admit now i can make my own choices i seem to have a fascination with it although haven't acted on it as a) am i just jumping into believing another load of rubbish?
and b) what if it really is the demons pretending to be loved ones!!

my brother saw two clairvoyants after he left the witnesses. he told me that the first one wasn't much good but the second one was different, seemed to know quite a lot about him. he was surprised. -

What does your baptism mean to you now?
by GiftsinMen ini was baptised on 1st sept 1990, 25years ago today.
it is still a date with deep meaning for me.
i never dedicated my life to serving any man or any organisation, this was my choice - as a grown adult - to serve my god through jesus christ.
