God made a woman to sit in the audience
This is like my wife. Whenever i do a job around the house or garden she gets a chair and sits and watches. She could help but she feels she is by saying how well I'm doing or not doing.
i'm probably going to say some things here that will disappoint many.
there are some that may look back over the years and say "man i really blew it" i'm not writing the following to scold for failures, but rather to help those who are young enough to put into practice what god wills for their life, and also to those of us who are in our middle years that still have time to change some things, in order to please god and find a peace that only being in his will can bring.
first let me say that god didn't create man for you.

over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?
my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.
i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.
"the only way to understand the press is to remember that they pander to their readers prejudices"the guardian?
london-centric middle-class liberal-left chattering-class.daily circulation of the guardian around 170,000 copies, compared to say the daily mail's daily circulation of around 1,500,000.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgscoauww2m.
I'm not a regular newspaper reader but the guardian is one that I buy
let me ask you only one question.
first i need to clarify a few things.
in the new world translation, john 1:1 reads: “in [the] beginning the word was, and the word was with god, and the word was a god.” then in isaiah 9:6 (nwt) we read: “for there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder.
The Trinity bored me and even after leaving the witnesses I agreed with them on it. One of my children brought the subject up once, due to a friend who was a baptist, I remember thinking how i disagreed with it.
Then one day an elder who was calling on me brought the subject up and he changed my mind. lol. he left shaking his stick at me.
He didn't mean to change my mind but I was more surprised than him I think
the biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..
I regret things I should have done, like in education but I have no regrets about how I was when I was a JW.
i've heard some weird stories coming from jws about the paranormal.
i know about the warnings about items that come from unbelievers -- those don't interest me as much.
what i am interested in are actual experiences in stories of the paranormal you've heard or experienced yourself.
the dog got me up at 3am she needed to pee. While she was doing that I went in the bathroom and found the cat had been in there and done a crap in the bath and vomited in the middle of the floor and behind the door. At 3 am I thought I'm not cleaning in up now and left it till the morning.
when I got up later I cleaned up the bath and the vomit in the middle of the floor then looked behind the door. It was gone. No big pile of vomit. Instantly thought demons.
gorby is as you know a long time fader.. visited the convention this weekend.. and concluded that samuel herds talk about hope was not so bad at all, it was well balanced.
made some good points.. knowing both sides of the medallion, have to admit he was humble with a focus on hope.. the saturday drama impressed me.
of course, there is a lot to say about the organization, this professional produced movie in a "true story" scenario, gave me the insight that hope is important for suffering people.
So much depended upon Messiah's resurrection, and the apostle Paul had suffered so much persecution for preaching it, that if Paul were a liar, then, as he wrote: "In fact, also, those who fell asleep in death inunion with Christ perished. If in this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied." (1 Corinthians 15:18,19) So,too, with our generation in this twentieth century. After all that we have gone through since 1914, our generation would be, of all generations, the “most to be pitied.”
Think of it, though! Worthy ones of this generation of mankind will be saved alive out of the rest of this world distress so as to survive the worst of it and enter into God’s Messianic new system of things and not need a resurrection from the dead to life here on earth!’ This is a valid hope well founded on what was said by Jesus Christ in his prophecy on the "sign of his presence and conclusion of the system of things." (Man’s Salvation Out of World Distress At Hand! Watch Tower 1975 page 28,29)
My father had the valid hope now the most to be pitied

the man who studied the bible with my father and gave him this hope said it was in impossible for him to grow old and die in this system.

'we were looking for "Mr. Stiffy" - the undertaker that was said to hang out there on occasion. Fun times'
It's less fun if a "Mr. Stiffy" moves in unexpectedly and uninvited to your house and stays for months.
