How would you feel about this and would you steps to change the situation
by troubled mind innext week i am having surgery at the local hospital .
one of my old jw 'friends ', that no longer considers me worthy of even a hello ,is a surgical tech there .. would you take steps to ask she not be on the operating team ?
it was brought to my attention today that i do have the right to ask for that person not to be present because of personal issues .. what would you do ?

I have posted concerning legal matters and those who are lawyers here (or not lawyers) are free to challenge anything I've posted. I'm not here to be the "lawyer" of this site, and see no reason to disclose anything about my professional life.
If you believe that anything I've posted is inaccurate, please feel free to challenge it. I will respond with authoritatative references to prove my point, or concede the point if I'm wrong. But I see no need to disclose my private, personal informaton on this forum in response to your repeated efforts to goad me into publicly disclosing facts that I desire to keep confidential.

I would never be "glad" that someone here was deleted over a thread argument, but you're so happy about this that you have to let others know that you're pleased.
You have consistently supported the making of false statements, as long as they are in opposition to the WTBTS. I have different values. After the horrific experience of being raised as a JW, "Truth" is very important to me. So we will never agree and I'd prefer to avoid any future dialogue with you. It is unlikely to be positive and will only add additional acrimony to a forum where vitriole is not scarce.

Every article you've posted here regarding legal matters has included false information. I have brought this to your attention in the past, but rather than simply correct it, you've debated the inaccuracy and actually tried to defend it until others expressed opinions consistent with those I posted.
Your article continues to contain false information, beginning with the first paragraph. But since accuracy is not your objective, there's no point in fixing it.
I will most certainly "remember" that accuracy is not your priority in writing articles about legal matters, and will therefore avoid reading future threads/posts from you concerning Conti or any other legal matters.

I do not derive happiness from the deletion of any individuals from this forum in circumstances such as those that occurred in this thread, and I doubt that Simon enjoys deleting anyone from this forum over such circumstances, either.
The bottom line is, the article is inaccurate, and Cedars has not modified it to make it accurate. That's his choice to make, and none of us should be angry enough over this to get ugly with him or anyone else on this forum.
As I have alluded to in this thread, I have decided that I will avoid responding to posts about legal matters made by non-lawyers. I find that my efforts to clarify the law on this forum have offended some folks here and caused them to respond with personal attacks, etc.. There just isn't any up side for me in responding to this type of topic, and it appears that many here would prefer to believe/rely on false information.
