i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

I've enjoyed reading your posts over the course of the last decade plus that I've been here. I am sorry that your departure appears to be related to the AAWA mess, which has been harmful to many fpr many different reasons. There have been many conflicts here over the years I've been on this site, but you've always handled yourself in a dignified manner and stayed above the fray.

i really enjoyed church today, i have been visting serevel in the last few weeks, all the ones i have been to have been okay, but no more, but today i felt comfortable with everything i seen.

it seemed very doctrinally sound, christ centered and the big bonus i did not hear a word about money!

they did not pass a plate(i dont know if they do but today there was none).

Since the beginning of time, man has rationalized despicable behavior by attributing it to compliance with "god's" standards. Nevetheless, it's quite clear that man both wrote the bible and created the god referenced therein. Therefore, it's not "god's" standards, but man's questionable representations as to what "god's" standards are that you are referring to. And those bogus standards form the foundation for bigots masquerading as pious theists.

"Extreme profanity?" Excuse my French, but you're full of shit. And as far as him allowing other posters to do so, he has on occasion, but he always uses his judgment to keep things under control. Note that they are 'posting guidelines," not posting laws/regulations.

Simon has a right to be frustrated, especially when dealing with idiots like you, who try to defend the outing of anonymous opposers of the WT that has been caused by certain individuals associated with AAWA.
