Anointed Ratios
by Labate inanother recent topic got me thinking.
has there ever been any kind of study of the ratio of male to female anointed?
if the female anointed will be co-rulers in heaven with morris and company, why are they not represented as gb members and helpers before armageddon arrives?.

How do you get over all the things that you missed? The stuff you can't get back

and no i'm not talking about christmas and birthday parties.
i'm talking about your first kiss happening in your twenties instead of your teens.

My biggest regret is not having children. I thought I'd wait until 'the new system'. Now that I'm almost 38 & 'awake' I think I'm past my child bearing years and it's too late for me. I try not to be angry/bitter about it, but it's hard.

by John Davis inwho do you believe is financially benefiting from watchtower business dealings.

I would also like to know the answer to this. It's a question my brother asked when I tried exposing the lies of the gb re the UN ties & multiple child abuse claims.

I am struggling with having a spouse still 'in'. We have both been inactive for years but he still believes it's the 'truth'. We get along wonderfully until the subject of religion or beliefs come up. I try and plant seeds of doubt here & there. The other day he mentioned out of the blue he is tired of being told how to live his life. His parents are very active as are mine. So the best thing for us at the moment is not discussing religion. I also keep him/us busy doing fun things on the weekends so he doesn't have time for mtgs. He doesn't seem to mind not witnessing either. Baby steps..

Are Jehovah's Witnesses Mind Numbingly Boring To You?
by minimus ini honestly think they are the most boring people on earth!
even when they produce their so called "new light", there's no excitement.
jws just do their thing and refuse to think about their useless lives.

Yes so boring and repetitive, close minded, judgmental, delusional and so on. Just a few days ago I ran into an old Jw friend who is a borderline fanatic and she thinks Armageddon is still right around the corner. 38 yrs old, never married & no kids-by choice. Beautiful girl but wanted the 'perfect brother'. She sounded like a mad woman talking about how god will pluck the gb members from their homes into heaven when Armageddon comes. So maybe not always boring but definitely always delusional.

Humourous reactions to beards worn at the kingdom Hall
by UnshackleTheChains inis this the reaction you get when you walk into a kingdom hall sporting your new beard 🙄.
.

There are a couple of brothers with full beards at my old KH (in Australia) both have privileges, give talks & have bible studies who attended mtgs. Guess no one cares they have beards as long as they are bringing 'sheep' in. 🙄 At the assemblies so many of the men sport beards no one really blinks an eye.

Thank you so much for sharing the steps of what helped your wife wake up. I am currently trying to figure out how to get my husband to see it's not 'the truth'. It's hard without ending up in an argument. I am going to download every step one by one. (On page 14 as another member mentioned)
Thanks again!

Proof they are not a cult??
by lriddle80 inthe following is from a facebook post and..maybe i am missing something, but none of these items disprove them being in a cult.
jehovah's witnesses are often mistaken to be something else.
some say it a secret cult while others believe something else.......i'm very proud to tell you my readers that i'm one of jehovah's witnesses.. below are 17 facts that shows jehovah's witness is not a cult..... 1. there are currently about 8 million jehovah's witnesses around the world.. 2. an average of over 800 people become jehovah's witnesses daily.. 3. we keep coming to your doors even though we have regular jobs and family like you because we are admonished to do so by jesus christ.. 4. we do not participate in wars and for this reason more than 1600 jehovah's witnesses were killed by hitler.. 5. there are currently over 300 jehovah's witnesses in prison in south korea and egypt because they refused to stop preaching or enlist in the military.. 6. we don't salute the flag or say national anthems because we pledge our allegiance only to god.. 7. yes we have fun and party too so don't get that twisted.. 8. not many of us know the name of the president of our headquarters because we do not pay any reference to him he is a fellow servant of god just like the rest of us are.. 9. you earn the privilege of becoming a jehovah's witness.

OP- Are you aware of other religions that have similar beliefs as Jehovah Witnesses regarding war, holidays, not being part of this world, etc? All you need to do is a bit of research.
CHRISTADELPHIANS- Christadelphians take no part in politics, voting, or military service.
ASSEMBLY OF YHWHHOSHUA-
A member in no way should participate into the affairs and practices of the world. …Thus a servant of YHWH can not vote or contribute to or accept any benefits from the institutes of the United States …nor should he be allowed to be a government official, to be a juror, or to serve in the Armed Forces. …Christmas …and any other heathen holiday are not celebrated in this assembly because of the inherent revelry contained in such celebration, as in the pagan names and sources that they represent.
ASSEMBLIES OF YAHWEH
Affiliated assemblies are located in 50 countries around the world. The missionary thrust, both foreign and domestic, is concentrated through the Sacred name Broadcast, heard over 24 stations across the United States (as of 1995) and in 75 foreign countries. …Affiliated members are found in 115 countries.
