  for me anyways.. i still have nightmares about demon attacks.

  that was the one belief that really had a grip on me growing up.

  i was terrified of demons and even thought i was being attacked one night for bringing home a toy with a pagan symbol (ying-yang) on it.

  Then how come you still go to bed with the light on?

  How did you know that?? The "official" reason is so I can find my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

  I stopped worrying about demons a long time ago. My favorite movie is the Devil's Advocate.

  God gudes people by giving them a brain and free will. Any success you have can be attributed to those two elements. Which, is not a bad deal.

  there was a post in the past that listed ray franz as the "king of the apostates" to flip the script who would you nominate as the reigning "queen of the apostates"?

  my nominee would go to joan cetnar.

  but to be honest joan is such a nice person that i had the pleasure of meeting at a ex-jws convention.

  Question about the 1260 and 1335 days

  i was just at jwfacts.com and was looking at the daniel/revelation phrophecies.

  the book of daniel mentions 1260 and 1335 days.

  This use of days has always bothered me. What happened to the concept of a "day for a year?" Who decided when you can use literal days and when you need to use years?

  Our CO just came back from two months CO Training.

  Has there been any mention of this training on JWD? If not - where are our spies??? Two months of training is a big deal.

  If is all this CO got out of it was two sentences, he didn't take good notes. Wonder what else was talked about during those two months.

  he tells me he knows of my possesssion of the flock book.

  he knows of my involvement on this site.

  This is an amazing story. It will even be more amazing how the story plays out. In addition, because RR is a minor the society will have their hands full. Do they really want to publicize the fact that the flock book is out on the web complete with notations? That is exactly what they will do if they legally persue the case. The book is now on many many websites, so the society can't reverse what has been done. Aything they do has the potential of backbackfiring.

  If RR listens to his lawyers, he should be fine. The society has as much to lose as RR.

  I always thought it funny how they make a big production of passing the bread and wine to the speaker and the "passers" (is that a word?). Whe you get to the last two people they transfer their plates to each other like as if there was some special significance to the actual act of "passing."

  I do remember one year when I was a passer (agan, is that a word?). We were in a big auditorium and there was one brother way in the back in charge of the sound system. He was not "passed" the bread and the wine. At the time I was really concerned that he was not "passed" the bread & wine.
