Enough is enough- I like to fire him. But at this point I don't have enough grounds to do so legally. I'm seeking to replace him with a non Jw when the time comes. I pretty much have had it with his nonsense.

Jehovah`s Witness Elders who were Business men in The Congregations I Attended.
by smiddy3 ina number of topics have covered work experiences by members who have encountered crticism for having a full time job .in the last few congregations i had attended this was never an issue as elders had businesses they owned and employed brothers and sisters .. while i personally never worked for a jw, both my young sons did at one time or another and my wife did also .i have always worked full time in secular employment and have never been criticised for doing so .and to my knowledge nobody else ever had that experience.. in the first cong.i attended an po as they were called at the time was an insurance agent and his bro.
was an assistant po also worked with the same ins,agency.. other congs,i attended one elder was an owner of a cabinet making firm while about 3 other different elders were self employed builders who ran their own business and employed others to work for them .. at the same time a couple of ms servants had their own plastering business going on supporting these elders business.. so i`m just wondering whether this is just depending on where you are from in the world and what time period we are talking about.. the time i`m talking about was in the sixties and seventies and the area was in s.e.

In one of my businesses I have three Jw's. Two MS and one Elder. I must say the Two MS's work hard. The Elder on the other hand always goes home early or behind on his tasks. He gives his work to the MS's which is not their job. I have talked to this guy till am blue in the face. And this is an elder.

When I was younger I worked for an elder. What a cheap azz prick. I wanted to have some days off to go to class and I had to drop the classes for him being an azzhat. But a fellow elder son could go to class. But here is something great. I own bakeries, a machine shop. A real estate office in and live in a Villa in Italy. Myself and family did well since we faded.

"Millions now Living Will Never Die!" That one quote is the most outrageous.

Private and Prayerful Deliberations!?
by Lost in the fog init is more likely that the notes will have the elders' doodles and scribbles in the margin rather than any evidence of prayerful deliberation.
or maybe it's just a ploy to give the boe more time to open the blue envelope and sanitise the content.
we'll have to wait and see what happens, if anything.. https://www.nsnews.com/bc-news/bc-jehovahs-witnesses-challenge-record-production-order-in-court-5691559.

Many reasons Why our family walked away from the Jw's. Every where we go some bad Intel was following us from one hall to another. Since We all faded they can keep their blue envelopes.

New and improved?
by tenyearsafter ini have a family member who had been df'ed for 15 years or so...recently they reinstated as a jw.
when i asked what motivated them to make that decision, the response was to be able to see family and old friends.
they insisted that things were different now.

Nothing, and I mean nothing can make me return to this heartless, self righteous, self serving Organization..

Money donated for a specific reason
by enoughisenough ini decided to do this posting because of some comments in the post about pensions.
in the mid to late 1980's there was a flood and the local kingom hall was damaged and many of the friends homes were damaged...groups came in to help repair.
my then mother-in-law literally lost everything-she had no home to repair...she had been renting a small trailer and it washed away.

We were down and out one time. But instead of asking for a hand out from people in the Kingdumb Hall. Every family member went out and got jobs. We never have been in need or had to had to have any help from others.

It's funny, When I was a Jw I was poor as dirt. Now that I'm out, I have abundance. I'm too poor to be a JW.

it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.

Watchtower loves to frown on any education, but when their azz is in a sling they want "educated " Brothers to bail them out for free. I don't understand that? I wonder if there is educated people helping them fall on their azz? Now that would be entertaining.
